I find it SO HARD to not do the compulsion. I have contamination ocd and to not wipe down or wash my clothes is so real and feels so disgusting. I’m trying though.

I need to fight every day not to do the compulsions as I have strong anxiety.
Can you have OCD about your looks, like one flaw that you constantly obsess/ruminate about? It feels more like an OCD thing rather than BDD.
I’m assuming you can have OCD just about anything.
Yup! Ocd can be about anything, including looks
BDD is the same as OCD. So is anorexia.
I suffer terribly with reacting to imperfections on my clothing. What would a proper reaction be? Hiding the clothing and trying to forget about it? Throwing it away? It just feels like it shouldn’t be like that and it causes such hellish anxiety

It can be a compulsion if you are watching it for reassurance to figure something out.
I'm here watching a video. Is it for reassurance? No. Because if I wanted reassurance I'd be elsewhere looking for every detail. Me personally. I'm here to unlock the tools to beat this problem and you'd be surprised how these videos do give you insight into this!
