He just got given limited chances at his previous clubs Chelsea and Man City but when he was on loan at Bolton do you fail to remember how good sturridge was then? That was when he was still at Chelsea as well just on loan to Bolton. You need to look at the bigger picture before you make such a vain comment.

This is the real Roy Keane seen without the confrontational streak. He's a bloke who has had to fight for everything, so you can understand why he sometimes has a pop at people. All through his book he talks about how as a kid he was smaller than everyone else and that forced him to take them on head to head. Deep down he's just an tough working class man trying to do the best for himself and his family.

Ashley Young is your best option for captain. That's bad in that you don't have anyone better, but there's nothing wrong with Young. He gives 100%, even though he's being played out of position, and that's probably the most captain-like trait that exists in that team at the moment.

i think you underestemate him right now. this guy had everything, mentality determination, good skill, scoring skill, defensive skill, header skill.
roy had it all. he gave others the fundament which he already had built his house on. he tought the others how to build a fundament for their own houses.

It may not be 2000 step overs and a back heel, but Keane because the best midfielder in the country by doing the simple things perfectly. He's dominated Zidane and Davids doing stuff like this. Overdoing it isn't the answer all the time.
