I just love how you guys structure the videos as though they are being told by someone who would know only as much as the people living in the universes would know instead of what the audience know,such as saying Ned was a traitor.

I love how you do your videos from the perspective of the people, and not as viewers with an omniscient third person POV. The people never truly knew whether Joffrey was a Baratheon, or if Eddard was a traitor or not. Adds something to your videos.

Stannis is the true heir of the iron throne
The Templin Institute report as if they come from future versions of these other universes. Stark sources may say that Ned wasn't a traitor but all other sources from the Maesters, and other houses of Westeros would say otherwise as that was the news that spread the most.
We all know it’s Jon and Dany
TTI writes as if its a in universe source. So they only know what is commonly known to most sources which is what makes TTI awesome.
It will certainly be interesting to see who will write the history books of Westeros. It may be the Lannisters at the moment, but with Stannis in the North, Dragons to the East, and unrest at home, their days are almost certainly over without the genius of Tywin or the surprising competence of Kevan.
Eddard died a traitor. will he be pardoned by a future ruler of westeros? But you're right, all true men should bend the knee to the rightful heir of the seven kingdoms, Stannis Baratheon!

As a massive fan of A Song of Ice and Fire, this is now my favorite video you have done so far.
A retelling of the story from different perspective is enough to give chills
Its often overlooked that the North was also never truelly conquered. They surrendered knowing they would be able to keep their culture intact. The only time they travel north before Ned they in fact are the strongest remaining faction and claim the Regency before willfully surrendering the throne back to the Targaryens. They arent the only ones to do it but to my knowledge they are the only ones to never be conquered and then to claim a regency only to relinquish it.
Edit: I correct myself. I believe the Hightowers were in fact regents and also surrendered their power without a fight.
I haven’t finished the video yet but this is already one of my favorites. I hope you’ll be doing the other family’s/kingdoms as well.

When you find more about the lore of song of fire and ice, and actual history it’s all based on. You be amazed how much true there is to fantasy. Also I’m glad the characters in the show are know taking the white walkers seriously.

I wounder how the Templin researchers survived up there. Hot choco? Lots of it I believe.
I'll be frank, even if I root for them as heroes of the setting, it has always been hard to put myself out as a House Stark Fan. This is a House that has lasted for, apparently, thousands of years. This dwarfs all other real-world houses, whose reigns might last centuries if they were really crafty and ruthless. And yet, House Stark was able to be defeated almost entirely by book 3 following the deaths of Eddard and Robb Stark - just two guys. There is almost nothing on family branches, barring the Karstarks & maybe one others, of which there should be hundreds at this point, who could take up the mantle - it is all conveniently left up to the "bastard." By comparison, the Lannisters just ooze dynastic glory and never once faded as a key player throughout the series. What I mean to say is that I look at the current generation and, barring the fully grown Sansa, I don't see anything resembling true ruling stock in the family. Good warriors? Sure. Born leaders? No, at least not by medieval standards.

While I have great respect for this channel and all who toil for it, as well as I have enjoyed many of it's creations, I find myself confused and uncomfortable with the video's perspective. Should we view it as if it was written by a maester of House Stark? A steward of (a somewhat empty) Winterfell? A maester in the Citadel of Oldtown? Or even a holy brother or septon in the Great Sept of Baelor? And when was this history recorded? After Bran is named King of Westeros?
