another nice one !!! finally got my review of the Heater Meal you sent to me, had issues with my editor and upload but it's being processed now. hope you are liking the mess kit I sent you
I'm loving the DIY chocolate milk, I would have never thought of that. Russian rations are good, man...I need to get one with that chicken spread next time. Great review dude!
I rarely get the chicken spread when when I do... every bite is amazing. Hard to find good pate like that stuff. Thanks for stopping by, happy New Years 🎊🎆🎈
Impressive production values. I've seen a lot of reviews that are lame, dark and soft, but they are ration reviews so I watch them. You are the Scorsese of reviewers with your multiple angles and tracking shots.
Great review Sticky! Not too many sides in this ration but the mains look great i always loved the Kasha dishes. Also nice to see meatballs that do not look like they came straight out of a machine. Hope you had a great New Year and thanks for sharing!
Hopefully we have a better year, I was really aiming for 20k subs but I fell short, in a way I like the subs I have now, makes it easier to reply to everyone and read all the comments.. thanks for stopping by, happy New Years 🎊🎊🎊 🎉
Awesome review of the new Russian IRP ration it looked super tasty lol, what a massive ration too. I’ve got two Russian IRP’s in the mail on the way to me to review on my channel, these will be a very new experience for me since I’ve never had a foreign ration from anywhere lol, it was cheap too, 25.00 dollars a ration on amazon and they’re supposed to be fresh lol. They’re the daily 24 hr rations I’m pretty excited to get into them lol.
$25 for two? They are the 24 hour versions right? If so, that is a really good deal! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, try using my method for heating the entrees, as any other method would likely burn the bottom, believe me I tried it all lol. The zucchini caviar is an acquired taste, I’ll admit at first I didn’t really like it, but after my 6th IRP, i love it! I recommend you try. Lithuanian ration as well, very similar to the Russian and polish rations. Thank you for stopping by, happy new year! 🎊🎈
It was really good, I’m sure it was intended to be used both way, as a drink and a spread. I’ve seen other reviewer use the apple jam as a drink as well. Happy new year! 🎊🎆 🎉
Great review! I love that Russian kasha buckwheat stuff I buy Russian brand and make it myself , not with beef because vegetarian but with veg stock and then add onion and other spices that stuff is so great! I think because Russian buckwheat is roasted or brown and toasty. Not green.
I make kasha myself, I have a video using a simple recipe but it’s the beef version. I might reconsider doing another video using your veggie recipe. Happy new year!
Happy New Year friends !!!!! Great looking ration, and great review Sticky. All components look good, and were thought out correctly, for this ration. They all compliment each other. All 3 meals looked tasty. Great idea, adding chocolate spread, to the powdered milk drink. The kasha and caviar combination, looked awesome too. Again, great job, and, Best of wishes for the new year. Peace, John.
I wonder how they russains cook to preserve the tastyness , what oils ? What spices , and work to i.d. things you love , I'm looking for cooking ideas , and I've never had buckwheat ,that I remember ...so I wouldn't even know if I basically cooked it right ? ,Goode works ! Mo details ! Plz .
Seems to me compared to our US MRE’s they have better quality especially the mains & pates. Less reliance on carbs. Food looks delicious and hearty. I assume tea is more popular than coffee in Russia. Someday I may be lucky enough to try one of these rations. Thanks for another 5 star review.
Happy 2019 mate! I really like the Russian rations and this one looks like it doesn't disappoint either. Russian soldiers would never go hungry anyway that's for sure. I really enjoy the Russian tea too it's amazing, thanks for another fantastic review mate. :)
Thank you my friend, you know I’m a big carnivore as well, I would’ve enjoyed it more if it had the tushonka instead of the meatballs. Still, a good meal, took me two sittings to finish the whole thing 😂 happy New Years🎊🎈
Awesome a fresh ration. I like the russian coffee too, I taste a hint of chicory root in it gives it a distinct flavor. Can't go wrong with Russian Kasha weather it is buckwheat or barley both are fantastic. That chicken Pate looks fantastic, my cat would try to kill me if I didn't share that goodness with him. LOL that chocolate spread I would just eat like pudding. Nice those meatballs I would put over some Ramen noodles. With the caviar it isn't that I don't like it, it is just unusual to my palette. Awesome of Art and Nina to send it to you to try. Thanks for the review. Happy New Year Sticky
In this MRE porridgse from buckwheat and pearl barley. Chicken pate... In another diet, there are a pate of pork fat with spices, named "smalec", it is also very tasty. But coffee - chicory spoils his taste, in my opinion, coffee without additives is somewhat better
You are a great reviewer! I’ve watched many...i don’t like when reviewers are down on rations because they compare them to restaurant food. They are to nourish warfighters and give them a morale boost, and you express that wonderfully! I’ll watch more of your reviews for sure...Tankerdoc
Awesome review Happy New Year! Meal looked surprisingly varied and delicious too not just Kasha as the main for every meal! What was up wit them meatballs? They look real tender what was it about the flavor you didn't enjoy?
I've had homemade Kasha (Buckwheat Groats) its pretty good but eating it for all 3 meals is a bit much for me. Just my taste but I prefer diverse options. It's also pretty good with just milk and sugar and a little butter for breakfast too.
The russian rations seem like some of the best, except for the accessory packets. Accessory packets are half the fun and theirs just seems to be lacking. But hey, it's a small trade off when you get to avoid meals of soy, rice, and a fist-full of hard candies.
Man I love Russian rations they in my opinion one of the best out there with Latvia being second. I wish the USA had MREs that fresh and good. Ours are full of sugar and preservatives. Not to mention the food coloring in the drinks. Those countries know how to feed their soldiers. Sure the shelf life maybe 3 years tops , but honestly who wants an MRE that’ll last you 10 or more years . Makes you wonder what the US does to what they call food. Great video brother 🙏👍🏻
многие блюда для самих русских весьма на любителя! вся логика данного MRE максимальная энергетическая насыщенность с учетом климатических особенностей страны!
Don't they sell apple butter in jars somewhere on the internet? Why not stock up on those if somebody can find it? I would assume that they have a commercial version of it.
There is commercial versions in Russia, nothing that is exact here in the states. Maybe Russian neighborhoods in the states might have them but nothing that’s near me.
Slightly different contents in the one I got - a kasha of rice and beef instead of the pearl barley meal, which suits me as barley gives me brutal, unrelenting flatulence. It's a really good ration, but ideally I'd swap the meatballs for some tushonka.
It was very interesting - what do you think about the Russian MRE. Thank you very much for such an interesting review. But unfortunately I don't know English well and didn't understand everything you said, sorry... Very interested in your opinion about dry fuel - In my opinion this is a big drawback of our MRE. Flameless heater in complete set American MRE more convenient.
There is a youtuber named emmymadeinjapan and she uses an application on her phone to translate stuff in real time. You should look into it. Makes it easier to review stuff and looks very professional. Good job!
I’ve used that application before and it’s been very helpful. I’ve memorized most of the ration components and sometimes the translator doesn’t work. It’s a handy tool but it’s very flawed
Who cares how you pronounce it! Great video see you sporting the foreign Mre mug and over rated sport. Love your video and love the Russian food! Great job brother ❤

I have to say. I really like the Russian rations! I had my first one 2 years ago and buy them ever so often.
Непривычно как-то без тушёнки, хорошо каша на месте)

The tins supposed to be open before putting them on fire to evaporate excessive water. This is why your meatballs lost their shape...
