Air Women allowed to have ''Beards'' in the Air Force also?. Definitely Civi in uniform now. What's next???
I feel like that would be a particularly unlikely circumstance that a woman can a) grow a beard, and b) wants a beard. Something for chain of command.
Women have been able to grow beards on the RAAF for about 10yrs now. They removed it from the dress manual when they removed the rules around women shaving their legs. Not that this matters. From my understanding, the RAAF is moving to a non gender specific dress and grooming standard. If women can be in the trench, men can have long hair so to speak
@@michaelrhodes1981 if they identify as women yes. Future state of the dress manual might allow for anyone to wear the dress or the pants regardless of gender identity. I'm not saying I agree bit the fact remains.
@@michaelrhodes1981 they are moving towards removing gender completely. They aren't there yet. Saying this, Alot of bases have removed gender segregation from accomodation and some units have unisex bathrooms as standard.
@@ithinkurf My son was in Wagga and they definitely didn’t have the same sleeping quarters as the women lol.
