The root grapple has held up well with no real issues. I really did not need the root points on the bottom tines so removed them for better functionality in picking up brush piles and logs. Even with the points removed the bottom tines stick past the upper tines about three inches and make it a little cumbersome in picking up logs and brush but it is much improved as compared to the function with the points installed. The tines with the points tend to dig in to much for my use since I do not want to damage the tree roots. it is better after removing the points but when I have time will probable trim off the bottom tines even with the top.
