I love that you don’t know what day it is…. I am the same.. I am currently having my new home completely renovated. it’s a bank holiday weekend here, so I am busy working at the house whilst the builders are on holiday. I literally just said to my dad “‘Now I know why I’m working… It’s a holiday for everyone else, and the rest of my life is a holiday!”… Love love love your video as…. Straw hat would not be able to be squashed flat in your luggage. You need one that will, or at least a cap with material all over, no holes - or both hat and cap.
Good point Catherine. I do finally get a hat in a future video but I have managed to get Sarah to carry it for me as we travel. I don't think she even realises she is doing it :-)

Hats....absolutely no question. First one you tried on...the Barmah Kangaroo leather hat...the one with the orange tag. Quintessentially Australian. Looks best on you.

@@2GoRoam I left UK 2001 moved Aussie - Sydney then Perth. Currently, in the US but bailing getting very messy! ;) Aussie is expensive to be retired full time - love Asia really! I'm travelling October!
Sound quality reaches just above acceptable
Thank you. We have struggled with so many failing mic systems. You'll see things improve considerably when we switch to our DJI mics in a couple of weeks time.

I liked the straw hats on you Neil. Only problem is it can be packed easily when you move from place to place. I bought a nice one in San Miguel de Allende that can easily be rolled up to pack but still holds its shape. Loved the wandering video. Wanted to know if the sea was warm down there in Surfer’s paradise?
Hi Neil & Sarah, really enjoying your videos. Here in Bangkok, it's been super sunny recently as we move into the Rainy Season. I like Neil, wear a baseball cap but need to find something with broader brim. A straw Panama hat perhaps? Hats are a problem Neil, I feel your pain. Best wishes from Bangkok.

Just found your channel, really enjoying it. I am from London but live in Broadbeach Waters. Broadbeach would have been a better option for restaurants, much classier. You are spot on in your description of Surfers Paradise, kiss me quick etc. Thanks for your entertaining vlog.

@@2GoRoam Bucket hats only look good on toddlers and really old men. Lol. Fedoras though can be quite stylish. Did you find a hat with a brim? I can recommend one or two. We’re doing well thanks. About to return to the shores of GB for a week :-)

Ah, the Gold Coast. Where Victorians go to die.😂 Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. Too humid and too sweaty for 8 months of the year. Nice winters though.

It wasn't too humid while we were there but it was at the back end of summer so all good I think.
Just turn off the road you are on walk for 200 mts and when you feel damp your in the sea
