Such an insightful video! Me and my family are visiting GC during december so can’t wait!! Also I’m super interested about diving, could you let me in with some infos about it like where is the gathering point, what are the prices like etc. Would totally love to bring my family for some challenge xx
@@ashleytlw hi there and thanks for the comment. Most people dive the seeway for free (if you have you own gear) but can't say it's one of my favourite places the go. Alternative to this would be the Tweed River or cook Islands. I've dived areas on the goldy but used brisbane dive shops to get there. However there are some shops available on the Gold Coast to take you around if you need. Apart from that, Stradbroke Island has many amazing dive sites, tangalooma wrecks from moreton island is good but very shallow, plus Julian rocks in Byron Bay brilliant for mantas, nudibranch and leopard sharks this time of year.
@@AquariusTraveller i did i went there in may we did loads of things but now i have a load more ideas😃 im from england but australia is so much better your so friendly over there your country is amazing
@@daveturner132 I'm glad you like it so much to come back here again and again. I don't live far away from the gold coast so plenty of visits over the years myself 😁
@@daveturner132 after 37 countrys there are so many beautiful places... so hard for me to pick the best. But I do love living here in South East Queensland 😁👍
Plenty to do around the Gold Coast Chris, who'd have thought. Well done highlighting some of the lesser known attractions. There are a few things there I might have to do one day I reckon. I never get front seat in the chopper, though, my flights are always the complimentary variety 😊
Thanks for watching Bernie and Yes, soooo much to do on the Gold Coast, even a few new things for me to visit. I'm always very particular about my helicopter flight and need to be three seater plus pilot.... Any more and I won't generally book!. This guarantees a front seat to at least one of us....LOL...or at least a window seat!

Here is a blog of mine I wrote on the dive sites in the area... it could help 😀
@@ashleytlw price will depend on where you go and how you get there, but could range between $120 to $250 per person.
Needed this for the school holidays 🫶🫶

@@adventurewithbernie handy hint...you need to weigh less than the other passengers 😁👍
@@AquariusTraveller 😭😭😭
@@adventurewithbernie that's just from my experience.... I'm sure there are exceptions to that, especially if your the only one in there 😁
I'm going to guess that Matt is a Sagittarius and Chris is an Aries.
Interesting.... what gives you that idea ?
