30 Minute Intermediate Yoga Workout | Juicy Heart Opening Yoga Flow | Joy | Love | Ecstatic Play

  • This is a juicy, calming, intermediate, little-bit-of-everything flow. Move willfully, ecstatically, and joyfully from pose to pose. Enjoy the transitions as much as the discrete poses.
There's an advanced arm balance sequence toward the end that might lose a few folks -- be warned! If you find yourself frustrated, try pausing, replaying, and trying again. Sequences like these require willingness, time, and a good dose of stubbornness. The strength will come! Keep practicing!
OR: You can skip the arm balance sequence, as I instruct, and opt for side plank instead.
OR: Look for tutorials to help you with Astavakrasana, Koundinyasana II, and Vasisthasana with Padangusthasana.
Enjoy! Subscribe. Play. Love. And yoga on....
Thank you, thank you, thank you for viewing :-) :-)

    WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Starting my morning with this! Thank you for always graciously sharing your practice with us!!! I am in ♡ with your style & the challenges you allow me to try!!!!"
"I've started taking your classes and enjoying every moment of the practice in the early morning before heading out for work. Thank you very much. Namaste."
"I find your classes unique and inspiring, They leave me feeling the best version of me."
"I have been loving your classes. Thank you for making them."
"Hi Leigha, I did your first class again (forearm stand) and I feel sooooo good now. Thank you!
I decided to do the whole series one by one again. It has been around 52 classes already, so it will take me some time.
    Good on you!"
"The last class (throat chakra) was absolutely amazing. Thank you for your wisdom you share with us. I also really enjoyed nauli pranayama."
"I just did Body Medicine last night and Open Open just now. What lovely wholesome practices, I love how we seamlessly did juicy amounts of good smooth movements, explored new transitions and poses, and worked on splits and compass pose again. 🙂 Feeling wonderful, thank you dear Leigha."
"After the shavasana and the short meditation in the end, I got up off the mat and I experienced an incredible feeling of lightness, as if i was light as a feather, thank you."
"I did handstand class again today. I can feel such a progress in those L-stand hops. The whole class felt much easier than the first time. Thank you Leigha."
"Hi Leigha, I took last class (Peace) outside by the lake I live.
The class itself made me feel peaceful and as I was listening to the sounds of the birds between your words and watching the top of the trees, it even intesified my feeling of blissfulness and peace.. I finished when the sun was setting down and I was listening to the frogs and birds while taklng shavasana. Thank you for another amazing class.
"I feel grateful as I am improving so much with your guidance. I can feel open in my shoulders, thoracic spine as never before, leg behind head feels easy and slowly slowly I can do king pieon for rhe first time in my life (just on one side). I do not even attend any yoga classes anymore as I just love doing yoga at home and your guidance is the best for me anyway (I do yoga for several years but your classes make a big difference. and I love you make them in accessible way, I never feel any strain… you can teach and prepare and open body with an ease and grace). "
    "Hello Leigha!
First of all, a big thank you for the chin-stand themed practice. It was intense, I will definitely be coming back to it,… once my pride recovers!! It is a struggle for me.
Just did Paradise and Grasshopper… soooo amazing, I finally really feel how incredible and energizing back bends are. Huge smile on my face when I kicked over from the wall.
    Thank you again."
"Hey Leigha, I just completed your newest class, Paradise. I feel like I’m on cloud nine. The shavasana in the end felt so blissful. The sensation of bliss so….tangible, it felt like it was sloshing and spreading around in my body, gently tingling and glittering. I was lying on my mat with a big grin of contentment slowly appearing on my face, couldn’t help it. I’m very grateful. Sending my love to you and all the yogis practicing with you."
"I just did Open Hearted, BEAUTIFUL practice, feeling so open and accepting of loving energy built up in my heart. Thank you Leigha!"
"You have added sooo much to my practice that i had to thank you! your pace, instruction, sequencing and the space you allow is magical. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and work."
    with love,
    Leigha

This flow is exactly what I was looking for! I can't do the playful parts yet ;) so I do half side planks or vinyasa there.. but for the rest, I was so into it, felt a total detox of my body and yes, again: I loved the flow. Most important for me it wasn't slow so I really enjoyed the variety of asanas. Thank you for this great channel. It helps me improve so much :)

I've always had a hard time stepping my foot in between my hands. Any tips?

    • @LeighaButler
      @LeighaButler  8 лет назад

+Yogired008 This often has to do with hamstring inflexibility. It also requires a good bit of core, specifically hip flexor strength. I would try incorporating forward folds into your daily routine -- at least one a day for one minute (if you have high blood pressure or cataracts, seated forward fold is better). For the core strength, lie down on your back and alternate tapping opposite elbow-to-knee, 10 reps or more on each side. ... There are lots of other approaches, depending on what's going on your body, but try this for two weeks and see if you can detect any progress. Stay in touch, and let me know how it goes!

+Leigha Butler holy Cow u replied 2 me. I luv ur channel. Ur so flawless & ur voice is so soothing. U kick my butt all the time. I practice daily so I do incorporate forward folds & I also do core. My forward folds look nothing like urs (😩) so I'm going 2 try a diff technique I saw yesterday & will start doing ur core work advice vs my core work routine. Ur absolutely beautiful.
