Well, at least you finally let us hear it. It sounds pretty good too ! I agree with your choice to switch to a "C" type neck, I would have too ! I would have used a late 50s/early 60s phase reversible pickup for the middle pickup, to really enhance the "quack" of it. I have a Squier Tele train wreck I bought in a pawn shop for a test subject. I have a Squier Strat that is a twin to my Player Series Strat tat is gonna be my Tele/Strat that I have described, with a phase reversible middle pickup. All pickups will be Fender (50s, or 60s) for the classic sound. Keep modding yours, and lets see what you can come up with !
It has to be much about those pickups too because when you switch to middle or neck where is strat pickups it sounds like strat. Bridge sounds like more tele, yeah.
could you go into more detail about how you mounted the tele bridge onto the body? ive got a strat whose body is cracked particularly the topmost screw from the old strat tremololo, but the hole routed for the old trem makes it difficult to find a bridge
I filled the trem cavity with expoxy and sanded it down. I think 2 screws went into the expoxy fill and 2 into the wood body. Check out the 1st video that might show it better. ruclips.net/video/ENQMZZizaJc/видео.html Thanks for watching.
With the 3 pickups (2 from a 54 RI strat) and the 5 way switch I would expect more strat sounds. Sounding like a tele isnt my goal, but if it was I would eliminate the middle pickup, go with a 3 way switch, and string through the body. Thank you for the comment!

Sounds great man, good job.
Rotosounds are the most amazing strings I have ever played. I play Roto Pinks(9’s). The beautiful bell like tones you get are amazing!
awesome
sounds good im looking to do similar but with Noiseless Fender pickups and the 25db mid boost. would be a rocketship with all that I think
Thanks for the sound video David! here in my country i cant find a D shape neck, send your spare one for me! haha
Thanks!

The mod would probably be easier on hard tail strat body like one of the new Squier Bullets. Bullets are cheap and beautiful and to Fender specs.
Yes, the hard tail would be and easier project for sure!

Nice job. Do you have any ideas on how to get more towards the tele sound? Is that your goal?

Great Job. Have u tried the bridge and neck position in this beautiful strat?
No, but thats a great idea to get back to the tele sound!
@@davidmilton9616 i would love to see that mod dude! Have a blessed
does the bridge pickup sound like a tele?
Yes, I would say the bridge pickup definitely has the tele sound. Thank you!
