As a 17-year-old trolling about Los Angeles, I saw Ian Mackaye at a show pre-Fugazi and post Minor Threat. His transitional band ("Embrace" or maybe "Embody") played a crazed set. I only know the name of the band by looking for it on the Internet. Did I dream this? No. I was there -- completely random. Ian is awesome.

Love Ian but I have a hard time believing any show with guy’s bs could be one of the greatest shows? Always Guy gets gets a pass.
