Two Questions I have a 2011 Sierra Denali & from my understanding you cannot run LEDs for your turn signals without getting hyperflash for the 2007 - 2013 Body Styles unless you run resistors. Do these mirrors come with built in resistors or are they error free meaning no hyperflash. Also, is there an option to get these mirrors with Amber running lights instead of the bright white Leds?
These mirrors will not cause hyperflash, and do NOT need resistors installed to prevent it. We do offer the mirrors with an amber running light rather than a white running light. You would want to choose the Signal & Running Light 1.0 or 2.0 on our site.
It is the same tap for running light and reverse, but the power adjust and signal would not work. Please reach out to our team at sales@boostautoparts.com for further guidance.
Signal & Running Light 1.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 50% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal. Signal & Running Light 2.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. does anyone know if these will work on a 2014 with manual everything? It's a work truck and i dont like the boring plain towing mirrors. I need some similar to these.
The fuse is purposefully placed near the mirror behind the door panel so that issues can be isolated from side to side on shared wires like the orange running light
@Boost Auto Parts mine that I installed today are from scitoo. Everything is very similar but mine came with only two wires for the reverse lights. They're mounted on a 2007 Chevy Avalanche. I'm just trying to find a way to get the reverse lights to work. It's got a red and black wire so do I need to put the red wire only in the trailer slot in the fuse block and ground the black in the cab?
Hello, Unfortunately since the mirrors are not from us we are not sure which wire controls what features. Beyond the video, we would not be able to provide any further guidance.
All tow mirrors will have some shake, but our mirrors are known for our quality and have a minimal amount of shake. Feel free to check out all of the reviews for our products.
Hey Ry, Did you buy the mirrors from us? Boost mirrors use the wire colors in the video and we offer the fuse taps. It sounds like unfortunately the mirrors aren't from us.
The additional wiring is for the running light and reverse light features. We offer signal only mirrors that would be plug and play for power adjust, defrost and turn signal. Unfortunately since the running light and reverse features weren't offered in the older trucks there is some additional wiring required.
Switchback would be a white running light, amber turn signal. 1.0 is a dim amber running light, bright amber turn signal. 2.0 is a bright amber running light, bright amber turn signal. Reach out to our team at sales@boostautoparts.com or 765-831-2830 for any further questions!

Ground location.... did you do in the cab or under the hood?
Check out the video at 9:04; it is grounded in the cab.
Are the mirrors for sell that you took off the truck?
We offer new mirrors only. You can purchase here: boostautoparts.com/products/2007-5-2013-gm-tow-mirrors?Mirror%20Install&Comment&RUclips
does anyone know if these will work on a 2014 with manual everything? It's a work truck and i dont like the boring plain towing mirrors. I need some similar to these.
You can certainly get the lights to work on a 2014 with a fully manual setup. Send an email to sales@boostautoparts.com so we can help you out
I don’t understand what the “switchback” function is. Anybody?
It is a light that changes from a white running light to an amber turn signal
Do these have power fold feature?
We do not currently offer power fold for 2007-2014 trucks, however it is in development (no firm ETA at this time).
Power fold now available!
My reverse lights turn off when I put the truck in reverse...I’m so confused
Please reach our to our technical support team; they can get this resolved ASAP.
What did you do to fix it?
great mirrors but horrible placement of the fuse coming off the mirror.
The fuse is purposefully placed near the mirror behind the door panel so that issues can be isolated from side to side on shared wires like the orange running light
Installed my accordingly no turn signals
Please contact our technical support team at support@boostautoparts.com so they can assist
Hello,
Unfortunately since the mirrors are not from us we are not sure which wire controls what features. Beyond the video, we would not be able to provide any further guidance.
How did you connect the wires underneath the steering wheel so that there’s only one of each wire going to the fuse box?
You can splice them together using a variety of methods. Solder & Splice, T-Tap, Butt Connector, etc.
Installed mine and don’t have any reverse lights
The fuse tap is likely not making adequate contact.
try taking the fuse tap out and turn it 180 then plug back in
Will these work on a 2014 2500HD Denali? Thanks!
Yes!

Do the mirrors shake bad on these?
All tow mirrors will have some shake, but our mirrors are known for our quality and have a minimal amount of shake. Feel free to check out all of the reviews for our products.
Your gonna wanna subscribe to this channel.
Thanks Gary!
Thumbs down. My wires are purple and black. And my kit did NOT come with any fuse connectors. Wtf
Hey Ry,
Did you buy the mirrors from us? Boost mirrors use the wire colors in the video and we offer the fuse taps. It sounds like unfortunately the mirrors aren't from us.
Did you figure anything out because i have a black and purple harness aswell
Mine are blue white and grey
@@stevecrystal712 did you ever figure it out?
That is way too much extra. They make mirrors just like this that are plug and play, no running wires all over the truck.
The additional wiring is for the running light and reverse light features. We offer signal only mirrors that would be plug and play for power adjust, defrost and turn signal.
Unfortunately since the running light and reverse features weren't offered in the older trucks there is some additional wiring required.
What is the difference between the switchback 1.0 & 2.0?
Switchback would be a white running light, amber turn signal.
1.0 is a dim amber running light, bright amber turn signal.
2.0 is a bright amber running light, bright amber turn signal.
