I got some 08-13 style tow mirrors with the strip lights like yours and the plugs are different I've already swapped the bases so they would bolt on. But I'm having trouble with my wiring.
We don't have an adapter to go from 07-13 to 99-02 because the bases and internal wiring are both different. Our 1999-2002 mirrors have the correct base + wiring to work on these vehicles.

I did the exact thing but now when i unlock the truck none of the lights light up and the reverse dont turn on unless i missed something? Because im confused the signal lights turn on but i want the reverse and other functions to work

@@brandopadilla4704 if you are technically savvy you could do that. The white wire is the power and you can trigger that however you'd like. The only caveat is the gray wire needs a constant ground.

Okay so I’m having trouble with the turn signals. I wired them up exactly as described and the passenger side works perfect but the driver side does hyper flash on the dash but none of my lights are blinking. The only thing blinking is the mirror and it is staying in the “white” mode and flashing fast.
You can poke a hole then fish it through with a straightened out coat hanger. Give our support team a call at 765-831-2830 if you need further guidance.
It should be plug and play. The only thing he is doing it making the reverse light works and the running lights. If you just do the basic plug and play you will have turn signals but no running lights and no reverse
You can just plug the main harness in and power adjust and defrost will work. You can wire in the LED's at a later point in time. On 99-02 vehicles you must do the wiring to get any lighting functions to work.

hi, my question is if the passenger side orange and white wires are long enough to run through to the fuse box, would i just splice the orange to the orange and white to the white and then crimp the two wires into the fuse tap? thanks
My Niece recently bought an '02 Silverado 2500 HD with the Duramax. It has the small standard mirrors which I believe are power adjust and thats it. We're looking for OEM or SOLID aftermarkets Tow mirrors. I'm a Ford guy and learning about Chevies. I'm being told that '99-'02 mirrors will fit and some are saying up to '06 will fit and work. Also being told that in some installations the mirrors lean weird.....we sure don't want this. Can anyone help?

If your stock mirrors are power adjust, then our mirrors will plug and play for power adjust. To pick up the lighting functions you would hardwire them in following this video.
You could install them and wire in the lighting features, however we do not have an upgrade path outlined for power adjust and defrost so you could not add those features.
Will these fit an 01 Chevrolet 2500HD? I'd imagine it's the same from the 1500, but I also know that assuming isn't always a good idea in the auto world. My 2500HD has full defrost and power adjust options, for reference.

Which means the wiring for power windows/mirrors is already in your door. You would just have to plug them in. If your truck doesn’t have power mirrors, then you would need to pick up the trim pieces and controls as well. Then it’s just plug n play.
i don't have your product. mine only has 3 wires coming from the mirror. 1) blue - directional, 2) black - ground, 3) purple (not white) and does not have the orange backup light wire. any help on this please? 2002 gmc sierra 2500 hd
Sounds like you have mirrors that don't have the running light function. You could purchase our dual function running & signal harness to get the running light feature. We sell the taps for the signals on our site as well.

All mirrors regardless of where they come from for 1999-2007 classic vehicles will not be "leveled". The upward slant of the mirrors is due to the body lines of the truck itself.

What if I want to be able to turn the lights on with the cargo lamp instead of having to shift Into reverse?

The taps for the signals at the BCM are included with the purchase of mirrors. The fuse taps for running/reverse are an optional add on.

You can splice the passenger side running light and reverse light wires to the drivers side in the kick panel and just run the drivers side through.
