This video will detail how to install Boost Auto tow mirrors for 1999-2002 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra trucks. The installation will cover how to gain the power folding functionality with Boost Auto's patented wireless ECU technology. In addition to the power fold features, the video also covers the installation of the lighting features for your mirrors such as running light, turn signal, and reverse lights.
On top of adding functionality with a wider field of view, these mirrors are offered with a wide variety of features you can upgrade to including running light, turn signal, reverse light, power fold, heated upper & lower glass defrost.
Part ways with aftermarket switches and long-wiring harnesses that take hours to install. Boost Auto allows you to add power fold to trucks not originally equipped with, by utilizing our patented wireless technology. Our wireless modules intelligently intercept your truck's factory power adjust switch which allows the switch to be utilized to power fold your Boost Auto towing mirrors. Your OEM switch can still be used to adjust the glass, it will just gain the added functionality of power folding your mirrors.
Don't lose features - keep everything you originally had and easily add bonus features. No running wires across the dash - our modules communicate wirelessly from side to side to make installation a breeze. Boost Auto exclusively developed and patented this technology and cannot be found anywhere else. Gone are the days of having to manually fold your mirrors every time you enter your garage, do it all from the driver's seat electronically utilizing our Wireless ECU technology today!

Purchased this set after reading a bunch of reviews on other brands. These are pricey but they look and feel identical to my factory 2017 Silverado mirrors. The quality of this kit which included everything (3M connectors) was impressive. A breath of fresh air after so many experiences with china garbage. Took me about 5 hours to install and everything works great and no rattles or shaking going down the rough socal freeways. Nice quality Boost Auto Team👍🏻

We appreciate the feedback. Given our company is owned by a truck enthusiast; one of the things we live by is that if we wouldn't put it on our own truck we wouldn't sell it. What that means is things are over-engineered and designed to last. Enjoy your mirrors for many years to come - we appreciate your business!

Great tutorial as always. I've been wondering when someone would come out with a folding mirror package for the older Silverados & Sierras... looks like I better start saving😊

I have an older set of type mirrors that I've had for a few years now and was wondering if you sell just an additional kit that would modify those older ones to where the have the electric folding option? I know it's a long shot and not even sure if something like that is possible but was just wondering

Unfortunately the mounting bases are totally different, so you would need to sell your current mirrors and pickup a new set.@@cmcd082

What happens if you forgot and manually fold them will they break?

There is a breakaway, but it is designed for emergencies only. The mirrors should not be manually folded intentionally.
