Hello ! Im a general dentist and I love and appreciate your channel and content! thank you for all that you do! Sincerely, Dr. Freddy Mezquia
Thank you Dr!

Dental vibes!!You both are doing very good job in this RUclips channel!
I’ve learned a lot from you guys
I’m definitely inspired to start both medical and dental assistant channels
I’m already a certified medical assistant and I’m now almost finished with my second certification as a dental assistant
Awesome!
Girl how? Sounds expensive but id love to do it
Thank you ladies!
Just subscribed! Great content! I’m starting in the dental field and I actually feel better after watching
Welcome to dentistry🙂
Ive been learning a lot about the system there bcoz of you guys ive binge watch your channel. Keep uploading and appreciate the hard work😍
🥰🥰
Good videos, i do like to watch all of them.. and I would like to watch the crown prep in case is a tooth RTC
Thank you! The set up for a crown prep after RCT is the same as well as the procedure steps. They only variation would be if you have to place a post instead of a build up.
Like doctor,, I prefer to do all the job by my own, but with the assistant helping all the time,, is easy don’t leave the dental chair and the patient,,, that’s what really good and honest practice do,!!!
Do you have tips on how to remember what instrument you need per procedure? I feel so lost when I’m told to make a tray for a procedures.
Walk the procedure in your head. If you know the procedure you know what you need.
@@DentalVibesthat isn’t rlly going to help someone that is new to dentistry and knows nothing about it
you need to be vocal with your lead assistant and take pictures
Can you make a video on inlays and onlays tray set ups?
We don’t do inlays in our office. If we do an onlay we would still mill it on Cerec thus our set up would not change from what is shown in this video. Curious to see what other offices do and if they’re set ups would change.
Can you do cement applying suggestions?
We have a video coming 🙂
Ladies you are so amazing! Love your positive dental vibes. I always learn something from both of you. 🦷🤍
I wish my dental office where as nice as u woman ❤️
What is the laser for?
Thank you girls for this helpful video 😊. You are so beautiful and smart
Thank you! 🥰🥰 we’re glad you enjoyed it!
Curious if you ladies have heard of the lab Dandy? it cuts out alot of time. We started using it at our office almost a year ago. its a 3D scanner and its AMAZING check them out Dandy Dental Labs
In UK all of this is done by the dentist, dental nurses just assist.
Always watching your videos, for any advice. My new, Dr, is so, well mannered. he so, nice. however, I've had an awful day. helping with a HVE instrument Somehow the HVE broke the plastic piece that controls the on and off switch that broke. I wanted to go, cry somewhere. He did not say anything, he walked out of the room and got a new one. A better one it was a stainless one. I feel awful, worried that I may lose my job. Was I nervous, not sure? Thought I share.. Yes, an externship. Thanks
Don’t worry! You will make many mistakes😅🦷
@@DentalVibes Today I was told that I am not ready for dental assisting. My school was 10 days. no, experience. Need 200 hr externship, with no guarantee. free labor.
@kimberlydegren8753 Wow, what and awful thing to say! Im so sorry you went through that. How are you doing now? Are you still in the field?
Am I understanding that as dental assistants where you are, you are doing all the tooth prep and making the temp from go to whoa etc or is the dentist doing it? I'm unsure of your qualifications as I am a new sub ...
The dentist preps the tooth and the DA makes the temp
My dentist doesn't do impression we just trial and error crown sizes I can't find any video on crowns where they aren't taking impressions
You have to take a final impression or scan. Please tell us more lol
@@DentalVibes we don't do any of that. Once the tooth is prepped the Dr just tells us what crown she wants (we have prefabricated stainless steel crowns) and if it fits great if not we hand her a spoon to take it off and hand her a size higher or lower depending on what she wants. After she makes sure it's a good fit we clean everything super well, mix the cement (if we are lucky she let's us use premixed other wise we have to mix it ourselves ;-;) apply cement in the tooth and then give her the crown to be placed and then light cured. Sounds easier than it is unfortunately. I'm trying to compile a playlist of videos to help train assistants cause a lot of ppl like me come in having no experience. My first ever training was when our lead assistant (and the only one who knew what she was doing) left on a surgery day, appts typically 2-4 hrs long, and I had to fill in and the doctor was walking me through it all as we went.
@@stilljustliam9196 ohhh you’re talking about children’s crowns that’s a whole different thing. Stantless steel crowns are not meant to be permanent. Permanent crowns (usually done in adults) you MUST take a final impression or scan
@@DentalVibes yeah I work in pediatrics probably woulda been good to specify. Even though kids are a wild card working on adult teeth seems so much harder I could never
@@stilljustliam9196 I was so confused for a min lol thinking what? There’s no way you can make a crown without an impression 😅 now it makes sense
