I'm a hygienist. Patient's think they get cavities because of the type of food they eat but in a lot of cases we mainly see decay when people constantly snack because the mouth is constantly in an acidic environment. Moral of the story STOP SNACKING!

I have a 10 acre farm with chickens, my cat rescue and my 2 dogs. I try to be done eating at 10 or 11pm. Lay in bed a couple hours to watch youtube videos, then sleep until 9am. I get up, feed my cats, dogs and chickens, walk my dogs around the pasture and get back in the house by noon. I do indoor chores and finally break my fast at 1pm or 2pm. I ride my bike down the road to my neighbors to clean his house, do laundry and make meals for his insulin resistant dog. Then ride my bike home. I usually fit a nap in there after breakfast which is eggs and bacon. You have been the best influence to add to my schedule. I love my new way of eating. It has helped me, and my neighbors dog. Thank you!

Train brain first, body will follow!!
Everything starts with thought. Start dressing like you want to be recognized throughout the sweat pants, throughout the leggings throw anything comfortable. Tell yourself that you are the weight that you want to see yourself at. These tips work because I went from 2:35 to 135 and three months and kept it off for 18 years. I am 43 years old and now I help others with a mindset first and then after the baggage begins to dissipate the weight will follow. Important to go to sleep before 10 PM, stop any eating by 8 PM I gave up sugar, carbs, any white flour for the first three months and then slowly integrated back into my lifestyle. Great tips that you provided but I want people to understand overall that actually weight loss has nothing to do with how to train your body all has to do with how you are feeling about your body. As an energy coach IM helping others feel good in the skin they’re in and it’s not about acceptance of the size or that size but in fact it’s about allowing. You would think gosh I want to lose this week of course I will allow it to happen but it’s a lot more difficult and complex than that. Emotions get trapped physical pain arrives and then before you know it we’ve got weight behind us beside us above us we didn’t even know we had. Everything on the outside is a direct reflection of how we are vibrating. Everything is energy and energy is everything. Being conscious of what you’re putting in your brain will intern make you conscious of what you put in your mouth. Turn off the news turn off the TV and the one strength training that I love and the only thing I do besides walking 20 minutes a day is calisthenics which is just a plank style 20 minute workout. I don’t do cardio and I have more muscle mass now than I did in my 20s. Don’t compare yourself to anyone ever. That’s when we get caught up unfortunately this media craze of what perfect is supposed to be like is killing not only our mindset but our life. We think the goal is way over there and in fact it’s right here. If you start by believing in anything that you desire as if you already had it then you will be very happy to know that it will show up in your life. I’m currently writing a book to help others as well after buying my first home two years ago without ever stepping foot in it. I made a list, I put it on the fridge, I read it every single day and every single night for eight months. I saw myself at the home experiencing my fruit trees my 15 foot swimming pool sitting on my shower seat I was very specific and not once did I consider money as what I needed to purchase this home. Money is energy just like everything else and when we have fear we have block. My husband looked at me like I had absolutely lost my mind when I told him to go put an offer in on the house that I hadn’t even looked at. I told him no I didn’t need to it has everything that I’ve been believing in this whole entire time. Manifestation is real and it works with everything not just buying a house or losing weight. We don’t get what we want we get what we feel and that’s the problem. People do not know how they feel therefore they are not able to know there are the reasons they are creating the continuous cycle of things they do not want. This is not some woo New Age crap. I’ve got over $300 in coins from my guides my angels the universe call it what you want but as a being of light I’m here to spread awareness that videos like this where you inspire people or what the world needs and anyone thinking that they cannot attain the look they want must go back to the drawing board first and be specific on the look they want. The universe always delivers exactly what it is we are putting out there relationships health rear money you name it all comes back to one mindset aligning the vibrational field with the mindset is the way that you will sustain and achieve everything. However as a sidenote remember that there are no coincidences, and there are no missed opportunities, when things fall through things don’t go the way that one has hoped then you say that’s great that’s interesting what’s coming next because when it’s time life shifts and makes room for exactly what you have aligned in your path. Victim Mentality or creator the choice is always been yours, and it’s an easy shift but that starts with you

I’ve been following a low-carb diet for years. Lost quite bit of weight (20 lbs or 9 kg), then gained some back and stalled. A few months back, I quit snacking so much. I lost about 8 lbs (3.6 kg). My previous snacking habit came from my confidence that my low-carb snacks were harmless, so “chow down!” Welp, that ain’t right 😂

I usually skip breakfast, maybe an apple and a cup of coffee and water. I can´t eat in the morning, but later around 9am. Many people telling me like, "breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you can´t skip that", but I feel better just following my body. I don´t eat lunch as everyone else do, if I am not hungry. And I stopped eating after 7pm. It helped a lot, because I couldn´t sleep. When I eat veggies with rice or buckwheat with potato, I have no sugar cravings. When I eat pasta or pizza, I can eat a piece of a cake soon after. So, yes, you are completely right.

Before going low carb/ keto I would feel weak and incredibly nauseous when i didn't eat every few hours so I couldn't actually leave the house without always having a snack in my bag. It was awful. Now a 24 hours fast is easy. This independence is awesome. I'm not a slave to carbs anymore!

    I guess I'm a sugar burner, but I have type 2 diabetes.
I fall asleep after every meal.
I started watching your videos this week.
I've lowered my carb intake to 70 grams, however I think I need to go lower. My baseline sugar was around 170. It's now 154 and I take metformin.
I don't sleep (about 4hrs a night) but that doesn't include the after meals naps. This week I've started taking melatonin to help me sleep. It seems to be working. I got 8 hrs of sleep last night.
So the struggle continues and we will see where we go to this week.

Omgoodness!, this makes so much sense! I definitely burn sugar. However I eat very little carbs! Mostly from vegetables. Sometimes I will eat keto chocolate sweetened with stevia. But I cannot seem to loose weight even on keto/IF! I am menopausal and don’t get good sleep due to night sweats. My job is sitting at the computer all day. I do try to go for walks with my dog but mostly in the summer. I have done fasting for 2 days in a row but I get discouraged when I don’t feel like I lost anything. 😢 what would you recommend?

    Hi Kait
I have been on a healthy low carb diet with very little snacking for about seven months. I think I have been burning fat rather than sugar, for the most part. Recently, my doctor told me that I have hypoglycemia and need to eat more complex carbs. I have no symptoms of hypoglycemia, and I feel great on keto. I have lost weight since I started it. What causes asymptomatic hypoglycemia, and how does it relate to the ketogenic diet? Can hypoglycemia cause muscle loss?

I remember eating every 3rd to 4th hr, and smaller meals. Because that was what I was told was healthy. I was told that would «keep the blood sugar stable» Not true at all. The oposite is actually the case. 🤦‍♀
The result was a lot more planning, a lot of extra time in the kitchen, that could have been used for something better, and constant hunger.

My meal afterwork is curd cheese with 2 cans of tuna in brine mixed in. Then around 8pm I have the dinner, which is bunch ouf ground turkey with red lentils. Feels great, I am at about 1400kcal per day, about 180grams of protein. Male, 34y/o, 90kg/180 pounds. Moderate exercise, plenty of water. My only struggle is the sleep.

I'm enjoying your videos Kait! I have a question about this one. Not sure if you covered it somewhere else, but what do you think about exercising in a fasted state? It looks like I'm still a sugar burner since I have a hard time losing weight, or it could be I just eat too much (good quality food!) Anyway, I would like to narrow my feeding window and breakfast is easier to skip. But I've started to ice skate at 9:30am 2 days a week. I tend to eat a big breakfast (low carb), thinking it will help. But maybe this isn't best since it's a low intensity workout at my stage right now? I'd love to hear your take! Thank you! 🙏

Sounds like the difference between sugars and carbs for fuel vs fat for fuel is similar to using wood for a fire vs using coal to fuel the fire. Coal takes longer to catch on but burns hotter and longer when it gets going. Wood, by contrast, only burns hot for a brief time and then more wood is needed to sustain the fire.
Not to change the subject but I have found that more and more keto products are now appearing in supermarkets, glad to see that healthier choices are being made available.
What have been told for decades about food and eating and health were all wrong and outright lies for profits.

Hello sexy Kait:). I use to be a sugar burner but since KETO and I.F. I have been a fat burner. Now, I'm not a CLEAN KETO person by any stretch since I usually cheat on Saturdays which is usually a day with friends and family. Once I hit my goal weight my cheat day hasn't hurt my weight goals:)

So I don’t snack thru out the day. I tried it but I’m use to eating 3 big meals a day. But I’m skinny fat. So I store fat in my stomach. I think I’m eating the wrong carbs. When I eat less carbs I start to lose weight.
