Thank you Mark, that was very sincere. Only a true fan of the sport would come out like that at this travesty. It is nothing to do with corruption, it was sheer incompetence frkm the fact that VAR was not functioning properly for the first goal that was chalked off for a wrong offside, to the Jones sending off and the two very quick yellows for Diogo . PGMOLreleased a statement tonight but the game has gone and we've lost the points. This point is that we have referees in both var and on the pitch that have spoilt many games for many clubs now especially since the introduction of var and many points lost unjustly for errors in judgement from people who are supposed to officiate the game. Trust has gone.

Hey it happened to us against Arsenal and spurs. Deliberate handball from Romero, Garnacho’s “offside” goal. Declan rice goal with Gabriel clearly fouling Evans… we United fans have been complaining all season but now people are starting to pay attention.
As a spurs fan I agree it was absolutely ridiculous. However it does feel like good karma to the champions league final, that penalty was absolutely stupid
THANK YOU an honest football assessment.I'm a Liverpool fan and really respect this man. There is so much crap of people on other channels who just refuse to analyse the decisions as they are not Liverpool fans.
Thank you Mark for your honest opinion on the match and the fiasco that happened. Mike Hooper was totally biased against Liverpool. Whenever possible. He made sure he gave a Liverpool player a yellow card for minor fouls and did not give any to a Spurs player. On a few occasions, he gave yellow cards to a Spurs player, but he should have given them more. If you are comparing the yellow cards that he gave Liverpool players. I am not convinced that Jota's first yellow card was a yellow! So many times Spurs did similar fouls that were either not called as fouls or if they were, never got a yellow. That was not offside and it was never red. This season, the referees have been doing their utmost to give Liverpool terrible decisions to make them lose a match! Well done, referees, you finally achieved it. Your decisions finally helped Liverpool lose a match! As for Spurs, they needed the referee, those idiots controlling VAR, Liverpool to play with nine men, and Liverpool to score an own goal for them to finally beat Liverpool, since 2017!
Even as a newcastle fan who loves nothing more than Liverpool losing, that jones red was unbelievable he clearly rolled over the top of the ball and there was no malice intended. Absolutely ridiculous refereeing
Honestly I think it was borderline. Obviously there wasn't any malice but it was a very dangerous tackle (yes, due to him rolling over the ball which is unfortunate). If the ref had given a red in game I would've thought it harsh, but borderline enough to not VAR. Same in this instance-- ref gave it a yellow, and that isn't a glaring error in the least, so VAR shouldn't have intervened. VAR should be used for major errors, not decisions that could go either way.
This is why you have LFC fans like me subscribed to your channel, you are a fan of football and are absolutely fair and unbiased. This game was nothing short of corrupt and for the sake of football, it needs to be looked at and investigated. These officials need to lose their jobs.

@@douglastaggart9360 I don’t believe in al this nonsense about conspiracy theories and that refs hate Liverpool. But I’ve never in my life seen so many awful decisions made in a single game.
@@douglastaggart9360 why would I be dipstick 😭
Can we just acknowledge Allison's 2 back to back world class saves what an outstanding goalkeeper
Great respect for you Mark. That’s why I follow you because you are fair and unbiased even though I am a LFC fan. You should’ve been made the head of PGMOL and root out all these corrupt decisions that are ruining the game
Everyone seems to be missing the fact that Jota’s first yellow is not a yellow. Jots didn’t even trip him up.
Indeed
Pretty stupid rule that VAR can’t intervene on a second yellow even when it is effectively the same as a red card
Well yea but when your on a yellow you shouldn’t be lunging into tackles so it’s his own fault really. But I do feel the game was ruined by the referees with the jones red card
He also was very aware he was booked. Like Udogie was booked wrongly. Stupid tackle on a yellow
Thank you for highlighting this . Jota’s first yellow card wasn’t a yellow. Diaz’s goal was onside and Jones didn’t deserve to get the red card. It’s shameless the match fixing . The PGMOL need to be investigated and the officials need penalising.
One word for you Mark “ Respect” a true football fan.
I appreciate Mark for genuinely being honest about his big rivals. He’s right too! Gusto’s red last week wasn’t red and a bunch of horrible decisions being made by the best league in the world.
As a spurs fan, that offside call was insane. For sure. The first red idk, I can see why it was a red but I also see why it wasn't. Either way the refereeing is horrendous this season so far and we are only 7 games in.
Anyways , what a performance from Liverpool , proud of this team , YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE 🔴⚪
Well said, Mark. Although you're a United supporter, you do a great job here of advocating for fairness and a level playing field for all clubs, not just your own. A true fan of football, full stop. I agree - I could put up with a wrong refereeing decision in the moment, we've got by just fine like that for over a century - but this VAR farce is beyond ridiculous.
Mark I agree with most of what you have said. The only thing that I would say is although Jotas challenge was a yellow. The first yellow was a farce. Other than that you have spoke out and represented football fans everywhere and as a Liverpool fan I really appreciate what you are doing for the sport
First yellow was a joke !
Mark is right. There's no point in laughing cos it happens to an opposition team today, because it will happen to your team tomorrow.
Incredible to think that by adding a computer system to improve decisions that they have actually made things worse.
Not even a Liverpool fan but that referee performance makes me angry. As an Arsenal fan we had this happen to us last season against Brentford but an apology isn't enough. Game should be replayed
It happens to teams that are a threat to City . Arab oil money runs through PGMOL and as soon as City drops points , they screw those teams who can capitalise .
@@alirezaei514 City usually have decisions go their way and I do think some of the refs have clear bias against some teams but even City had that ridiculous Rashford goal given against them at Utd last season.
It’s absolutely wrong
@@ryanlewis4556deluded top 6 fans thinks everything is an agenda..City are screwed over just like everyone else..even today's game Wolves players were diving all over the pitch to fool the referee, even though they still outplayed us but it happens
@ryanlewis4556 what about rashfords offside goal vs man city.
Absolutely spot on Mark👏 This scandalous incompetence MUST end!!!!
Funny how it keeps happening to City's title rivals
I'm not even a Liverpool fan (I'm a United fan) but this match and refereeing/var pissed me off so much. Liverpool were definitely robbed and really didn't deserve to lose. I feel like both United and Liverpool are being targeted this season and the refereeing is a disgrace in this league
I'm a utd fan too and completely agree
Its bad for other teams too not just united and Liverpool
What about last NLD.
Wouldn’t say they’re being targeted that’s a bit far, definitely bad refereeing though.
if refereeing are targeting united this season, wolves would have awarded the penalty first game of the season in the dying minute
Thank you Mark for this, as a Liverpool fan I couldn't have said it better
But if it was man utd, you wouldn’t say anything. You would be saying United crying about VAR yet again. The hypocrisy in this Liverpool fan base is embarrassing
@@Vince888Honestly some fans yes, but I agree with Mark that it's first about the football, and not about which teams. I've seen bith man u and Liverpool get robbed and be the beneficiary of terrible decisions. Its not about one team or another but the fact that overall they continue to fail at using VAR
I'm so proud of the team tonight they fought hard. I feel so bad for Matip hopefully he sees the outpouring of support.
Thank you for consistently being unbiased. In this day and age when you need 90+ points to win the league, this cannot happen. We have been completely robbed at a chance to get 3 points because of shambolic refereeing decisions
Jota’s first yellow card was never a yellow.
Mark, you’ve won my respect! Agree everything you have said! Thumbs up 👍
The most painful game I've ever seen... 😢
Pathetic. The only word i have for the Diaz "offside" decision.
Disgusting game ever in this season bro
Thanks a lot Mark for this acknowledgment, We as Liverpool fans have been utterly disappointed with the officiating. They just have to fire all those rubbish referees
Massive respect for bringing this up as a Man United supporter.
I completely agree. Im a Liverpool fan but i swear i would actually be angry if this happened to any other team in such a big game, and they don,t even show the lines.
Mark I love how rivalry doesn’t blind u of clear corruption in the premier league, this is why ur one of the GOATS of football content!
You’ve gained a sub Mark.
Gutted as a Liverpool fan but appreciate the honesty you’ve shown as a united fan.
Disgraceful refereeing. 😢
I'm a utd fan and I completely agree
As a Liverpool fan I thought you would love this but you are a football fan and I applaud you for your opinions 👍 VAR has to go, you had the same incident with casimero😡
Jota's first yellow wasn't even a foul. How they are keeping their jobs is a million-dollar question.
Total respect to Mark Goldbridge the epitome of a true football fan . Being a life long Liverpool fan and disliking his choice of club to support as much as he dislikes mine I wholly concur on the fact that the beautiful game is being ruined for fans of all clubs by the sheer and gross incompetence of officialdom which is never held accountable for its actions and just seem to carry on regardless except for lame apologies being issued 🤬
The only good thing about this game is that Premier League showed everyone how corrupt this league is. There were always suspicions and rumors, but today they didn't even try to hide it. At least everybody saw that.
Glad he’s unbiased. Why I watch this guy despite being a Liverpool fan, i agree with him more often than not when he thinks United was robbed. Love his reactions when United lose though 😂
Thank you mark you’re the biggest voice in RUclips football and to see you post this is so good to see. This isn’t a Liverpool thing this is a football thing and as fans we need to come tigether the reffs have become a epidemic.
You are a realest man. I will always watch your videos. Thanks for the great content. I applaud your honesty.
I think this is the first blindingly obvious example of how VAR is used to manipulate the result of a game
Credit to Liverpool for staying in the game for so long against such odds
Coincident after City lose, Epl is rigged, as a United fan I have no dog in this fight, but City will win the title again and it's just becoming boring
I could not be prouder of this Liverpool team. This is the most blatant robbery I've ever seen.
The fact that the game was already ruined, and then Matip has that heartbreak moment after that embarrassment of officiating…Matip has to deal with the Ref’s problems, and I feel so bad for him.
Respect earned here. You speak more truth than the entire English FA
Thank you Mark, heartbroken by this one as an LFC fan...
I appreciate your honesty and I have only just been able to come and watch these kinds of videos... I can't take these silly decisions anymore! Spitting facts, Mark!
Massive respect for standing for football mate. This is indeed a dark day for the sport. PGMOL needs a reality check and can p*ss off!!!!!
This is why I follow marks channels he doesn’t mess about. He speaks the truth. Ima Liverpool fan but enjoy this guy’s commentary far better than almost every other channel. I’ve been telling all my Utd friends to get into his channel. Top drawer. Cheers mark. Respect the honesty 🙌🏼
As a united fan ..... feel sorry for the Liverpool. Those official should be fired , today football lose the match not Liverpool
Fair play mate..I've been a liverpool fan for 50+ years and you hit the nail on the head..you love your team..I love mine but we're both fans of football..I've seen utd get some shitty decisions against them and felt they where totally unacceptable..all in the name of football..the officiating at today's game was pub level..from jotas first yellow to the Diaz offside..getting beat is part of the game but today was a bitter pill to swallow.
This is not just about Liverpool....this is about football as a whole in Premier League. Something's gotta change.
Thanks Mark I love your unbiased reporting, that's why I love your channel .
🇬🇧👍
You know there are problems with VAR when Mark Goldbridge is giving you science lessons
I've believed the poor refereeing has been down to incompetence until today. But this can't be. It is clearly corruption. A whole team of proffessionals can't make this many clear "mistakes". What a disgrace. Tonight I feel like I don't want to be part of football anymore. It is too shameful.
Thanks for making this, Mark, I'm a Liverpool fan and if this happened to United I'd be pissed, I wouldn't laugh at this BS, Failure of a ref.
Hey it happened to us against Arsenal and spurs. Deliberate handball from Romero, Garnacho’s “offside” goal. Declan rice goal with Gabriel clearly fouling Evans… we United fans have been complaining all season but now people are starting to pay attention.
So messed up, my best mate is a United fan, I feel for you lot. might as well join VAR myself so I can fix this trash.@@DawnKing
Fair play to you Mark. Saying what needs to be said!
As a spurs fan I agree it was absolutely ridiculous. However it does feel like good karma to the champions league final, that penalty was absolutely stupid
Really appreciate your honesty mark as a Liverpool fan, top bloke and a true football fan
THANK YOU an honest football assessment.I'm a Liverpool fan and really respect this man. There is so much crap of people on other channels who just refuse to analyse the decisions as they are not Liverpool fans.
If I was a Liverpool player I would've stormed into Var's room.
Not a Pool fan, but it's disgraceful. VAR needs scrapping.
War room Is not in the stadium complex
It would be a long storm its about 40 miles away.
With the amount of virigin moustaches they have they would probably get whooped. Let's be honest, half of the liverpool team look like dorks.
Look at the red for Macca that was overturned. VAR is a joke.
Doesn't have to be intent to be a red card.
@@mattahNo but that's why we also invented yellow card...
@@mattah I get that but he rolled over the ball and the angle that got him sent off made the tackle look worse than it was
Honestly I think it was borderline.
Mark is actually a legend for this
Mark, your anger and frustration is worse than mine and I'm an LFC Fan! You summoned up the game brilliantly. Keep up the great work.
Mark is a real football fan❤
This is why you have LFC fans like me subscribed to your channel, you are a fan of football and are absolutely fair and unbiased. This game was nothing short of corrupt and for the sake of football, it needs to be looked at and investigated. These officials need to lose their jobs.
Thanks Mark, doesn’t make it sting any less but this needs to be investigated. It’s disgraceful, left a sour taste in my mouth I’m so angry
Not just as a Liverpool fan but also a football fan this s*** is unacceptable any more!!!
As an LFC fan, I really appreciate you, Mark.
Respect goldbridge, unite as football fans - from a Liverpool fan
Thank you Mark. Big respect
This defeat hits so hard. Was so excited to see a great match, and I love postecogleu. Cannot believe this, he’ll get away with it, just like Anthony Taylor, Paul Tierney, and more.
The thing with Jota’s second yellow. The first yellow he didn’t even touch the defender. He fell himself.
Totally agree the first was not a yellow a foul maybe but not yellow
The second was definitely a yellow
Ref got paid by spurs bro...he gonna give the card no matter what
I am also a Man Utd fan, but I legit feel sick from this refereeing. Liverpool did very well with 2 man down, Respect!
As a Liverpool Fan thank you for your unbiased opinion. Respect
it's almost at the point where you're not supposed to go for any physical touches with the opponent whilst defending in fear of being sent off instantly
Really respect Mark ,he calls it as he sees it, hes a football man and speaks like we all would after a game, its a shame var got it so wrong and the officials ruined the game, well said Mark ,from a Pool fan 👍
