Soken isn't just a legend but he's just so ADORABLE when he's making like a moogle lmfao!! And shoutout to YoshiP as always (that side-eye he sent offstage at his bff Soken when he did the mixup lol!)!
That bit with the Elpis flowers and the explosion of sound after they were all lit up from Close in the Distance actually brought a tear to my eye. I started in August around the start of 6.2 and this community and game have shown that in the darkest of times there is always someone or something there to bring you comfort. To all you warriors of light out there I salute you.

Final Fantasy 14 is the first game where I deliberately took my time to finish a boss so I could listen to the song that was playing in the background (Bahamut and Answers). Other video games do have great music as well but FF14 for me is the first game where the music isn't just something nice to listen too while doing other important things. The music in this game is a star itself. Just standing there seeing Ultima Thule for the first time and hearing "Close in the distance" starting to play is a feeling that I just can not describe. Killing Emet Selch...promising him to not forget him and his brothers while "Tomorrow and tomorrow" is playing...no words needed.
I am eagerly awaiting my copy to arrive soon!! Also looking forward to attending FFXIV Fan Festival in London this year in October and also got tickets for the Eorzean Symphony!!! Its going to be a amazing week!! Playing FFXIV since 1.0 beta 🥰🎼🎹

Tokyo Garden Theater in Japan last December. It's the only Eorzean Symphony concert that was held so far for Endwalker era. Next up is in Vegas this July right after the two day FFXIV Fan Festival.
I don't know, I'm hoping we may see her make a surprise appearance at the Eorzean Symphony show in Las Vegas during Fanfest. I think its partly because Soken doesn't really know her. Her rapport was with Uematsu. Its almost like both Soken and Uematsu had their "muses" so to speak. for Soken it seems to be Amanda and JCM. Its definitely not that Susan doesn't like the community or anything like that, At Distant Worlds she echoed what Amanda said here, about how great the community has been to her over the years. I mean recently she took part in that fan cover project of Close in the Distance.
@@darkguardian50uring the 2019 Eorzean Symphony, Susan was the one performing and even though Shadowbringers was already a part of their set list, Amanda and Jason were not present. Their first performance was at the Digital Fan Fest during the pandemic. There could also be a number of reasons why Susan wasn't there like contracts, budget or conflicts in schedule etc. I'm pretty sure Uematsu will let Soken invite Susan to perform since they are close and Susan is the actual singer for ARR to StB.

オケコンの会場でも号泣したのですが、理由の一つがPAさんでした。
