Genuinely, A Long Fall is such a good song that it got me to play FFXIV. And it became even better after going through Crystal Tower & Omegascape V3 for the first time and getting to hear the themes referenced by this song!
I know covid was a rough time, but honestly the 2021 endwalker fanfestival, and also the stormblood fanfestivals were my favorites - because moments like these were streamed for the whole world, not just people who could attend fanfest. I'm an OCE resident so I'll likely never get to attend a fanfest in person, I'm so glad this year's JP fanfest will have the music concerts streamed as well! It means a lot to those of us we can share in the experience together.
Same and watching yoship cry when soken announced he had cancer and had written to the edge from his hospital bed after a really rough bout of chemo treatment. And had an appointment right before fanfest to even know if he was okay enough shape to be on stage. 😢 i think our hearts collectively broke hearing it that. And then the community running SoS in support of him.
