I always enjoy EDC videos. I like to compare my game to others. I carry a 638 whenever I need a lighter option or deeper concealment. I’m traveling for the holiday and I’m in a warm climate, so I brought the 638 along.
The problem with EDC videos and most videos in this genre… the EDC items are no longer paid for, they are mostly all free. This no longer makes people reviewers, just influencers, making a free infomercial for companies. I’m willing to bet if influencers had to pay for all their gear, $300.00 knives would no longer be carried, firearms wouldn’t need to be stowed in 150.00 holsters, and they all wouldn’t need to be concealed in a $400.00 bags to go to the grocery store for milk. The days of real reviews of reasonable gear is long gone.

My summer carry is a J-frame in a pocket holster with a Zeta6 speed loader for a reload. They're the perfect gun for deep concealment or hot weather in my opinion.
@wisemencompany For the G19 Traditional Arms holster, I am looking at the website. Is that one "dual clip" and is the "Sweat guard" low, medium, or high? Thanks - Also, which tourniquets do you use?
You might enjoy running a Phlster Enigma. I switched from traditional belt carry to the Enigma light bearing with a JM Custom Kydex holster, and now i carry the same G19 with a TLR 1 HL and a 507C in any clothes i want. We had a record heat wave this summer and it rode right under a T shirt and basket ball shorts, and then under a suit and tie. You can get creative customizing them too (I have a Kabar TDI clipped to mine and somtimes a spare mag when I do safety work). I just got a newer Endura and one of your Signet rings to try as a gift. I have a feeling I'll enjoy it. Normally if i can't carry the TDI I carry a Cold Steel Voyager XL tanto with a wave mod for the fun of it.
Love the EDC videos too. I did have an issue after about 4 months of carrying with the KORE dress belt breaking on me though. I liked the belt, but wouldn't trust the dress belt for carrying anyway.
Some kind of trigger guard protection like a pocket holster would be a good idea when running that 38 in the fanny pack. Leaving the trigger exposed with other items in there is asking for an ND

one thing I added was wireless earbuds...if I'm in an emergency situation (doesn't matter if active killer or rolling up on a car wreck) I can put one in my ear and still talk to dispatch and give them real time updates (including my description) for when the uniforms arrive.
im a fan of being bombarded by edc videos. it gives me a good data set to compare against my own edc. i too am a big fan of the j frame as my around the house/ low risk gun. look into the zeta 6 j-pak. they are a much improved speed strip and I've been really enjoying using them for easily carrying an effective reload.
i'd never carry a revolver over a striker fired pistol though, is there even a real advantage? im not gonna be committing any crimes so idc about shell casings being left around, and i like a larger capacity. you can get like 10 - 13 rounds out of a similarly slim/sized 9mm pistol.
I see edc videos and everyone is getting more tacticool and less discreet. I would love to see someone tackle the edc for the suit/dress shirt and slacks wearing professional. Deep concealment. Hiding with a tucked in shirt etc.
Do you have EDC insurance or a lawfirm you pay a monthly retainer? I realized about a year ago alot of them are just scams that don't actually help you.

Dual clip and low sweat guard. I use all kind of TQ's. The one pictured is SOF-T wide.

Haha no. Those were put on by previous owner and I didn't take them off. They stay below the sight picture so they are almost worthless.
