thank you for being factual and concise. the worst is when a video is twice as long as it needs to be. i appreciate good information coupled with an actionable way to apply it, and that's what you provided
45-60G of carbs is what are recommended for the typical diabetic to eat with each meal. Giving 50-60 to the work out pro/amateur should be excellent advice. Thanks Tim!
many people consider fructose “natural,” and assume that all fructose products are healthier than other types of sugar. Likewise, fructose has a low glycemic index, meaning it has minimal impact on blood glucose levels
I see some body builders drinking a protein or carb drink whilst weight training. I thought that it wasn't a good idea to have anything sweet during training as the insulin release surpresses your growth hormone and testosterone release. Is this true?
Man, liked your explanation (so passionately and motivating) and subscribed without hesitation quickly. Good job. Will be looking forward to see new videos!!
This stuff is basics... Nowsports makes a Dextrose powder 2tbsp = 20g they also make a carb gainer gold standard has cheap whey/creatine, you're going to want whey pwo. here's a PWO shake for you guys who want to do supplements.... you need to put in whole foods Post work out as well if you're trying to take advantage of an insulin spike. You're literally cramming nutrients to "fill the spaces" you've created by tearing apart your muscles to expand them after working out. 1 scoop Whey 1 Banana 1 TBSP Natural Peanut butter 4 1/2 tbsp dext powder you can keep the carb gainer handy for if you need to refill your carbohydrates if your sugars get low. For a "hardgainer" like me, I also use it with my sleep supplement and casein.
I bet you have already seen so called 'Weight Gainer'? These are normally packed with Dextrose and Maltodextrin and only have very little Protein. Just check the ingredient list. I usually mix one scoop of normal 'Weight Gainer' with one scoop of isolate/concentrate whey protein. Just don't fall for those 'get big quicker by paying hundreds of dollars' tricks. Just buy the normal, but good tested stuff that everybody recommends (just check the internet).
Weight gainers are packed full of calories and all sorts of fats. Check out Endurox R4. First 2 ingredients are Dextrose and maltodextrin. Much healthier for you, and that weight gainer crap if you don't have a solid diet and workout plan will make you fat in all the wrong places.
u can control the spiking of insulin because ur the one injecting it! haha and it dont have to be sugary carbs like regular people, just eat double the carbs u regularly would in a meal right after a work out and give urself a couple units more of insulin and u got urself a clean insulin spike, watch ur sugar levels tho because takin the extra insulin will make u go low and thats just to insure u that all that nutritious food was fully stored into ur muscle cells, eat a apple or somthing ro raise ur sugar back to normal and ur set until ur next meal lol
How do I get a quick insulin spike? Started taking regular L-carnitine and I've heard that muscle needs insulin to take it in effectively. Can I just eat a few slices of bread or something?
I have hyperinsulinism... I just know the way I gain weight so fast after eating any candy or sugary thing and lose weight so fast by removing ALL CARBS including fruits and healthy carbs. If I buy dextrose creatine supplement think that would calm my hyperinsulinism down post workout? I get extremely hungry and on rest days to where I am sore. Once the soreness wears off I am barely ever hungry infact on those days I barely want to eat more than 1x a day but post work out holy fuck the next day I become a food whore. Jesus shit drives me insane and makes me fatter. Working out raises my insulin is my guess not that I am diabetic or had blood work to prove this but I can tell by how I feel and gain weight. Good news is damn I do gain muscle easy. Even when I don't work out while I am sore muscle is being put on but the hunger is a big issue. I am starting to think perhaps this dextrose stuff can help me with this issue on rest days and post workout. I generally carb up with sweet potatoes post workout and on rest days but my body keeps me craving more until I am no longer sore. Trying not to become obese here. Any tips?
To all the haters commenting calling this "broscience" your so wrong. Look at tim. Then look at yourself. Now back to tim. SEE THE DIFFERENCE? !?! HES FREAKING JACKED. I started an insulin mimicker as well and have seen HUGE gains.
i feel like choking this guy, he knows nothing about diabetes ( im type 1) and he says eating 5 banana's and a glass of OJ dont spike insulin HA! if i did that and according to him i wouldn't even need to take insulin???? id be in a coma if i did that, one thing about being a diabetic i can "spike" insulin when ever i want, dont even need to be insulin spiking foods. just has to be the right amount of carbs, even clean carbs and take more insulin then i need. if i go low on blood sugar that means all the nutrients got to the muscle cells and i just eat another apple and raise my sugar a bit. by the way becoming a diatetic threw spiking to many times will not be the reason for getting diabetes.. its an autoimmune system problem were ur immune system destroys ur insulin making cells within the pancreas , and for injecting it when u dont need it that will only make u a type 2 diabetic and that can be reversed by stop taking it and slowly ur pancreas will get back into the swing of things if ur a healthy bodybuilder and not a juice head.
He's talking about taking an insulin spike and countering it with the natural fast acting sugars to counter the insulin, which will stabilize resulting in muscle growth.

Gatorade has dextrose. So do Haribo brand gummy bears. I use both. Also Karbolyn is a great product to spike insulin
How about alcohol? Isn't that one of the simplest sugars? Absorbes in the blood right away?
what if you're already a diabetic.. safe way to spike?
I take 50g of unflavored glycomaize from O.N. along with a scoop of syntha-6 and unflavored glutamine and bcaas for post workout
Would it be a good method to get a insulin spike with coke after workout?
i am skinny i need some insulin boost ! what i have to do tim
I have type 1 diabetes so I have to take insulin 4 times a day So how it affects people like us?
u can control the spiking of insulin because ur the one injecting it! haha and it dont have to be sugary carbs like regular people, just eat double the carbs u regularly would in a meal right after a work out and give urself a couple units more of insulin and u got urself a clean insulin spike, watch ur sugar levels tho because takin the extra insulin will make u go low and thats just to insure u that all that nutritious food was fully stored into ur muscle cells, eat a apple or somthing ro raise ur sugar back to normal and ur set until ur next meal lol
is there anything else apart of shelves full of proteins and amino acids ?
Is there a low-calorie way to trick your body into an insulin spike? Ingesting sugar seems counter-intuitive to exercising.
You’ll burn the sugar off with cardio. You’re doing this then working out not eating sugar and sitting on your ass
What about getting that spike post workout with somethin like a sugary cereal ?
What about sucrulose?
do bcaas cause an insulin spike?
Hes right.
Can i do insulin spike with glugose
cool story bro
Screw the dextrose tell me how much sugar is enough
''Can you think of a good time where you want to have this chemical reaction''

Dam Man I wanted to try this till you said you do it.
Does MusclePharm have any product that would give you a Insulin Spike?
How do I get a quick insulin spike? Started taking regular L-carnitine and I've heard that muscle needs insulin to take it in effectively. Can I just eat a few slices of bread or something?
Lantwat _DerpFace Carb heavy meal.
Grind up oats in a blender, add milk, blend, drink.
Fitness expert?
50 grams of dextrose is about 16 teaspoons!
The posterboy for BRO SCIENCE!!
“That’s in your body” hahahaha
bcaa,s and ecaa,s don't always,s raise insulin but it might increase oxygen levels.
You can use an insulin mimicker like Anabolic Pump by USP Labs or something
Watch at 1:58 your welcome
Dextrose? ?
No to insulin! But at least he said no to needles!
What do you do after you SPIKE INSULIN??? WHAT DO YOU EAT???
