I think with the 14900K costing about 265$ more where I live, the 7800x3D is an obvious pick for gaming. But for workstations, the 14900K is probably better, since it has more cores and higher frequency.
not sure why you believe that. the ryzen is amazing in workstations and better at daily usage in my experience. the only place where the intel chip is even competitive for me is during gaming.
