Lets be real its not 263W TDP vs 350W its more like 280W vs 380W :D the 7800 XT is about 100w more power efficient I wouldent be able to run a 3080 ti in my system power draw too high i have a 650w from corsair! AT Max with my Ryzen 9 5900X + RX 7800 XT wattage pulls to 550+ if I try to OC to max both CPU and GPU Wattage 600+ not good could pull 600W. So what I did I put CPU to work at 4.5-4.6GHZ and undervolted GPU so now Max power wattage ive seen 535-540-542.5W which is just under the 550W power wall that power supply can handle. So in terms of the FPS the RX 7800 XT can produce comparable to 3080 ti for that wattage is worth it! I feel like the 7800 XT in terms of performance it competes with the 3080 ti 10GB ,but ive seen on countless benchmarks the 7800 XT beating out the 3080 10GB its also faster then the 6800 XT and competes with the 6900 XT its older brethren for much much less power consumption!

I think with the 14900K costing about 265$ more where I live, the 7800x3D is an obvious pick for gaming. But for workstations, the 14900K is probably better, since it has more cores and higher frequency.

I only buy Nvidia now, because amd's don't work half the time.

Intel has to deliver on all fronts with Arrow Lake, both in overclocking, performance and power efficiency. Frankly there is zero room for 10 or 7 nanometer processing nodes from Intel anymore, with Apple leading even AMD in power efficiency with the phenomenal M3 Max MacBook Pro. I love Intel, and Raptor Lakes overclocking capabilities are legendary. Nonetheless, Ryzen 7000 has destroyed Intel Raptor Lake in both power efficiency, performance per watt, and upgradability cost effectiveness.

14700K is obviously better in productivity. The 7800X3D's main purpose is gaming and it'll outperform the Intel there.
