This makes so much sense. Those villagers who say…
“we’ll fight for lordaeron! Get your swords!!”
…shouldn’t be footman like they did originally. They were obviously militia!

For some reason all of Reforged's melee and campaign maps have that uncanny look to them, as in the environnement looks so artificial and fake and every unit just sticks out like a sore thumb but here everything looks gorgeous.
I always thought the engine or the overly-detailed character design doomed the visual readability of the game but no, it turns out every map were just not made with enough care.
I especially like the idea of the codex, I know for a fact me and other people recall this feature as being one of the most memorable ideas from Age of mythology.
