True! And also performance optimizations. They really should have just released it as a separate game instead of trying to mix it with classic Wc3. So many technical problems arose because of it that hindered development
The graphics are dope, but the visibility of the troops is bad. It’s so hard to see things. It’s almost as if there is too much detail and it’s acting like a camo. Plus the team colors are so unpronounceable as well, it’s hard to identify

It makes them sexier ;) In all seriousness it's due to the new shaders brought in by the quenching mod. Wish there was a way to only apply the shader effects to the environment and not the character models
If only we could add better animations to the models, then it would've been literally perfect. As is, it's the only thing preventing this from being complete. Like, for example, at 2:00 I can totally imagine the footman and the grunt getting really close to eachother, ready to jump at the other's throat, with the paladin stepping in to push them away from eachother before things get messy. Or at 8:32, the elves looking around before crouching while going invisible. Y'know, the little details. That would've been neat, but unfortunately it's out of our reach.

Hi, sorry they're not meant for downloading, since I'm really just an amateur at these things. I've had other troubles with the scripting issues, shrinking the size of the minimap once the cutscene has ended, and as another user pointed out, I overlooked the hand clipping on the paladin. It would be embarrassing for me to put something like that up for download. What I do like to do, however, is re-imagine the cinematics to mirror how they looked like in the 2018 Blizzcon showcase and upload them to RUclips But if you're looking for a well-made redoing of Warcraft 3 reforged, look no further than the RE-Reforged project by InsaneMonster. He has a discord community as well. He has remastered the Exodus of the Horde Campaign and the first half of the Reign of Chaos Human Campaign. And yes, I do plan to make more, but I can't really give a schedule since I make these for fun whenever I feel like making them ;)

I used this tool called "Reforged UI editor". It gives you a GUI where you can place your text boxes where you want. It will then generate a script for you which you can paste into the map editor to be loaded at the beginning of the map. It has been a long time since I've touched it tho, so I probably would have forgotten a lot of things. You can reach out to many other map makers by joining the HIVE discord community. There are many experts in there that can give you a helping hand (like how they gave me a helping hand)
Hi, this is something that needs to be modified in the map file itself. Basically I had to edit some tga files, and write a few in game custom scripts to move the UI elements around. It took quite a lot of effort, ngl. So much so that I don't plan on using this UI for my future videos as 50% of effort alone went into making the UI look the way it is. Especially the unit portraits. Had to edit the model files and create a separate model for it. However I have good news for you if you're looking for something close. If you download and install the Quenching mod, there's a UI option you can choose to make it look pretty close to what you see in the video. It's called "Blizzard UI"
This is what Activision promised us, yet fell back on it, because it didn't feel right. I would gladly pay money to buy the game again, if only they kept their promises.
You cant go hyper realistic and have fur look like plastic and no real expression in tge face or body language that is easily readable. The best show case for the fialure is the furbolg shaman cut scene. Tyrande is very expressive and has body language and readable emotions on her face. Furbolg had an idol animation. His facial features were not readable. His fur looked like a plastic doll's. If they shiuld have gone for a cartoonish style if they could not carry through with the cinamatic realism and leverage it properly.

The developers completely crap themselves. From cash grabbing mobile games to all those borderline hentai indie games on Steam which might as well be Adobe Flash games The popular ones you see are the successful ones. Cut the East vs West crap. And I say that as someone who is Asian myself. It's cringe af... There are plenty of great games today made by Western devs too with great care and effort.

Thanks! The graphics overhaul is due to the Quenching mod. It replaces models, textures and shaders. I never play Warcraft 3 Reforged without it.

Big improvement of skills indeed. The only pronlem is that some cut scene being laggy because engine didnt polished well by the dev.
