You had me at "3 to 4 hours per day". Like your wife I studied music at a conservatory. Yes, 3-4 hrs of practice was just another Tuesday (and then there were classes/homework). I am interested in a career pivot to RE but there is so much get rich quick garbage content on YT-glad I found your channel. Subscribed.
i appreciate the free coaching . i will be practicing the script, even though im moving a bit fast. i am going to get my real estate licence and are the perfect mentor.
Hi Kevin! First of all, thanks for all the motivation. I'm not an agent yet but I'll be qualified to take the exam next year so I'm preparing. I saw one of your previous videos about what a real estate should do in his/her first 30 days and you mentioned that the agent should spend 2 hours practicing scripts and also spend 2 hours in developing systems/strategies. So, which one should I follow? Do I allot 4 hours to practice the scripts everyday or should I divide those 4 hours in practicing and creating systems? Thanks in advance!
Great video kevin thank you for sharing your knowledge! I just got your book and practicing the script. I am not licensed yet I am going for it this weekend but I am preparing for it now so when I have it I will be ready to go so thanks again!
Any suggestions on having a fear of roll playing? Idd thing is I was in the car business for a long time , I have no problem standing up and running sakes meeting ir training but if its role playing I tend to get anxious.
Absolutely. Role play for 60 days in a row. (If you wet your pants or throw up...go clean up and then come back and finish the role play session. If you're not wetting your pants or throwing up...then you're fine. Do it. Every day. 60 days in a row...and you'll never be "anxious" again. Or...stay scared...procrastinate and stay broke or go get a regular job. Get comfortable being uncomfortable.
This is so true and what im going to say is the wrong example but i began playing videogames 6 hrs a day for 8 years after work untill it almost ruined me but guess what? I became top.100 in the online society at that time was about 4 million players i was #97. If i can do that with my scripts 🙏🙏.
I played in the NFL for 6 yrs... the difference... we were paid to practice and learn, the issue... there was one game. In real estate, the game is everyday... SO THAT MEANS... you just have to jump in and get your practice on the phones or etc. no time to “practice”. Just go- you won’t get CUT unlike the NFL. WHATS THE PARALLEL HERE? I really hate when you guys compare this - FYI. It’s 5 hrs a day.
That's awesome that you played at that level. Agreed you have to jump in and start playing the game every day in Real Estate. In some respects it's more like Major League Baseball where they have a game almost every day during the season. But they don't show up 5 minutes before the game starts...they are there hours before the game practicing and preparing. Every day. 5 hours a day for NFL practices is the required work. I don't train on minimums. I look at the GOAT's...Jerry Rice, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Michael Phelps. They don't stop when everyone else goes to the locker room. There's always time to practice. Here's a great example of how The BEST train in real estate: ruclips.net/video/do2-YhAiJc8/видео.html In reality...NFL players are not paid to practice and learn...they're paid to perform...and win. Period. However because the bar is so high, they do get paid WHILE they train...but it they don't perform, after a season they're gone.
Yes. I agree 6 years is brief, I'm not a goat, and I didn't perform. You play like you practice, and you practice like you play. You always say it best, which is why I subscribed to your channel. Period.
@joshdthomas89 - Man, getting drafted + 1 year in the NFL is amazing, let alone 6! Per the NFLPA, you more than doubled the average career for CBs! Obviously, you know what it means to practice & perform. Thanks for the comments & wish you the best in Real Estate!
I played in the LFL for 2 years and those practices were long...5-6 hours each Sat and Sun, during the season. However, we didn’t get paid but we had fun during practice and in game day. Preparing for as many scenarios as possible reduces the anticipation and nervousness. When confidence increase, comfort level increase and it’s game on. You get back what you put in and that was the best part. When we left practice, we went to our residences, whether in state or out, and practiced and weight lifted on the weekdays. Practice, forms a routine that get easier each time. So when “game day” came, it was all or nothing. So I get how it could relate to real estate. Having a game plan and implementing is key. Great video!
I like this method but don't you think we should be practicing more than just rebuttals? Real estate is a deep industry there's: laws, terminology, processes, deadlines, contracts and so much more outside of rebuttals
Hi Kevin, I am a new agent with Keller Williams. I worked full time at my other job too. I cant quit just yet. How do you give me advise on how to work most effectively? I am willing to work hard for it.
denise davis Hi Denise, you can go onto his Facebook group and there you can post that you want a role play partner and many people will help you! Don’t be afraid to ask!

Thanks I will do that :)
Yes yes to this !!! Lol thank you!
What if there is no one to role play with? Will it still be just as effective if I'm just pretending someone is there listening to me?
