We taught our son to pick up his toys from a very young age, and it became a habit. I taught him how to sort his toys too, and when other kids came over to play, I told them that they must pick up the toys when they stopped playing. This teaches responsibility and how to organize and is very helpful in school and in life in general.

When I was a college student in another country with limited funds, it was such a blessing when people invited me to stay in their homes. It meant so much to me. They were earthly messengers of God's love. I am sure many of your visitors feel the same! Thank you so much!
It is important to respect the work that goes into hosting, before, after and during visits. It’s good that you are filming the cleanup because that makes the work visible. It is a reality that goes with sharing your space, time and energy with others.

I will pray for you. I hope your treatments go well. My brother was diagnosed with esophageal cancer several years ago. Treatment was not easy, but he is doing quite well so far. Cancer is very scary, but treatments are improving all the time! Hang in there!

You & your husband are so very kind to host so many people. I hope they do contribute to your grocery bill! Just a suggestion that my daughter used when my grandkids were small. I am the same, for me i need clean organised and minimal home. So when i don't have it it is very stressful and makes me feel claustrophobic so having a clean and neat and simple home with good systems in place that is also beautiful and calm to be in , makes me very relaxed and happy so my me time is also making my environment one i can be content in the day to day so even small daily things are fufilling and not chores.
I love the saying "make a life you don't need a vacation from."
This is how i feel. My home should be my haven and my family my favourite people.

Although I admire your hospitality and it’s wonderful to hear that Tolya gives you some time to yourself when you need it…you sound positively exhausted, it’s too much on your plate as is, new mother, two very small children, renovating your house and hosting soooo many people. Put yourselves first for a little while, it will get better when your home is finished and you can move in and relax but nobody would think less of you if some friends stay at an airBnB instead of your place once in a while, you’re doing so much for others already. Take care of yourselves and stay healthy.

Love the windows in your living room area, looks very cozy. I appreciate good cleaning skills and you have them! It's a really good trait that you let the kids just get all their toys out and play and not have to worry and just enjoy themselves. I found this very relaxing to watch.

You have a lot of energy, but sometimes it is better to have a rest and take care of ourselves, as we are not machines, especially with kids. Luckily Toyla is really a wonderful guy, a loving dad and this helps a lot! Anyway your house is clean and ordered and it is time to relax a little bit! You are just a nice family and your kids are adorable. Take care!

Just been through this season as well and it was God's help that I somehow managed to have the energy to get through it. Was amazing being able to have that time with those friends and family. You are inspirational, I definitely need to declutter more but noticed having less made having more people helped.

I honestly felt like crying watching you clean and sort out the toys 😂. Thankfully my son only wanted to play outside and didn’t like toys except for puzzles and Lego on rainy days which isn’t too much, a few months in Cape Town, but sunny days also in winter even though cold
