- You either would hate Georgian food or fall in love with it completely. We've tried several less popular traditional meals made by local Georgians that they love themselves and eat quite often. We also cooked one meal on fire outdoors with them and it was so much fun🔥

Also, we peel most kinds of cucumbers here in the US too.
We peel cucumbers here if they are straight from the garden... the kind that grow here the skin is so thick and there are so many prickles on the outside! This all looks so delicious. Excited to see more of the landscape of the country!

About how good the food was, Tolya's smile said it all! All the veggies being prepared were so beautiful to look at. I'm glad to know garlic and hot peppers are very good for you and keep your immune system healthy. I make my food very spicy and use garlic in almost every dish. I can imagine the little germs encountering garlic and chilies in my stomach or bloodstream and saying, "Whoa! We are SO outta here!"🤣

In America California Nevada where I’m from we peel cucumbers in our salads some just cut the edges 4 ways around to make it look prettier but I think it taste better pill

Loved this video...all of the dishes looked so delicious! I love learning about & trying foods from different areas & countries. I'm in America but, also grew up eating some foods which are popular in Poland (where my Father's parents emigrated from). The open air dining & the beautiful landscapes were so beautiful & inviting...as well as the beautiful & colorful foods. ❤

All the food looks delicious - I am a chicken lover and eat it a few times a week, and your first chicken dish in 'milk and garlic' looked tasty and tender. I'm going to have to look for that recipe. I also prefer my veg roasted and 'burnt'... it adds to the flavour. Tolya definitely gets 20 out of 10 for location! As a Brit, I would have served the meat and tomato course with traditional UK Dumplings (suet, flour and parsley). Good to see you all looking relaxed and happy with life. Much love from the UK. x

I love your food videos. The chicken and mushrooms would probably be my fave. I make a version of stuffed mushrooms here in America. Tolya’s expression when he tried the beans and nuts was too funny. I would think the texture would bother me also. Didn’t sound that good . Fun video and seeing the scenery was amazing
You should go to Samegrelo if you can, Martvili canyon is very very beautiful in summer and Megrelian cuisine is one of the best in Georgia. 💘

I think the cucumbers are peeled because they are ridge cucumbers instead of English cucumbers (what you usually get in the grocery store). We have them in Austria and the outside is tough and sometimes a bit spiky, so you peel them 😊

Oh man. I’m going to have to attempt these dishes. I also love anything stuffed - so the mushrooms and veggies would be my favorite. I also reduce salt/oil/cream in my dishes. I loved this video! The Georgian stove is badass and I love the way they rough-chopped the veggies! Vika’s travel food show ;-)

I grew up in Pittsburgh,Pa USA. It was a steel city with many eastern European countries represented in the steel workers.For this reason - though I'm predominently Irish & German Heritage -I love eastern European foods.Things like perogies, stuffed cabbages and stuffed pepoers, halushki, stroganoff and much more. It seems Toyla definitely loved the chicken best. You'll have to learn to cook that one for him. By the way - we peel our cucumbers too.
