having ridden my 390 adv for 40k km in 23 months , I could say this very clearly that its a king of all trades in the segments, high speed chase , track , trails and offroads , you throw anything at it and it does with ease and style, I do ride with big guns like 1250gs,versys, tiger ,ducati etc and i keep up with them at ease with good cruising speed of 140-150kmph, it is light weight and agile provided you have to properly maintain it !
@@emailjibudhan having adv 250 with the same suspension setup, they are too good for road & off road also...it's my opinion,, Next month going to book 390 avd also
just bought it last week the KTM ADV 390X AND SAW UR VIDEO NEXT DAY BEFORE DELIVERY TRUST ME I FELT SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS BEAST BEING FEATURED AND OWNED BY MOTOVLOGGERS LIKE U
I currently own a interceptor 650, I upgraded from my duke 200 in 2019, my next bike would be an adv, ktm is developing a new 650 cc parallel twin in india. Will on roads within 3years.
Hi Bulu Bhai, what do you suggest if I should go with low seat height variant or standard seat height. i'm 5'5. I wanted to go with a smaller one because of my height. But not sure we wil have to compromise on its off roading capabilities. I'm still okay with taller version because of the confidence you have inspired :) in case if shorter version has any compromises.
@@ontheroad8149 Thank you for the suggestion. I like himalayan. Only thing I'm worried is its heavy weight and low top end. If himalayan 450 fixes both of them , i would definitely go for it.
Hi Bulu, very informative video. Am bit confused in selecting the correct variants among the 390 ADV. I currently own a GT 650 and am new to these electronics and adjustable suspension. so can you guide me which will be the best choice or do you recommend any other bikes in Sep 2024. Mainly looking for long touring. Thanks for considering my comment.
I am a big fan of yours. Your bike reviews are most sought after by everyone. Rarely do you give a thumbs up to any bike without pointing out specific shortcomings of any models. But, this is an exception. Please let us know at least 6-10 shortcomings of KTM 390 adv bike also. I have toured in the hills of Uttarakhand on this bike for about a 1000 kms in 2023. I am still not convinced about this bike. A separate review video on your opinion about the shortcomings as well as advantages as described here will help clear my doubts. I experienced terrible stalling issues at low speeds etc. Please do make a comprehensive video on this subject whenever you have spare time from your busy schedules. Thanks for a wonderful review.
Hi, bulu biker, I am planning to ride Kolkata so I am thinking if there is friend it would be nice, so I thought to ask you, by the way I watched all your video and I like too
I just hate ktm mirrors..too small.I suggest guys to go for std model or low seat but not X..coz cornering ABS..TC..better tyres etc are some of thaughtfull features which could prove life savers...but as Bullu Bhai said...dis a rocket..street..highway offroad...its a full package and value fir money bike !!This bike can actually be compared wid big bikes only ! And d icing on cake is spare parts r easily available and dat too in low cost...
Hi sir Wanted ur advice I am bit confused between ktm adv 390 and interceptor 650. I have delayed my purchase because of the confusion. Just wanted ur expertise advice on this. I am starting my passion of riding and Interceptor is kind of first love which comes with twin engine I like smooth riding not too fast like cruising and enjoying the ride but having enough power when needed. But ktm adv looks like perfect in all sense for touring like seats are perfect and electronic and all so mind is telling ktm and heart interceptor. And the stalling issue in low rpms in ktm 390, Wht all RUclipsrs point out does it matters or Likely to say does it annoy in city rides or in touring. Should I ignore it. Kindly wanted ur unbiased advice.
If you really want more options at your dispose (which is always better), you can wait for bajaj-triump scram and himalyan 450, that is what I will recommend, also stalling can be fixed by using a bigger rear sprocket (find videos it has a good effect overall)
@@BuluBiker thank you bulu Bhai .. I'm planning to buy new bike around Diwali tou aapka review will be most helpful.. I follow you for 3 years now and aapke reviews bhot natural and practical hote hai .. I absolutely love your reviews .. keep it up ..
I have a quick question about helmets. Which helmet do you use and why? Can you make a video on top 3 helmets that are available in the market in the price range of around 5k. And recommend 3 helmets that are good and available in the price range of 2k or less. If you already have a video on this topic then pls share the link. I am interested in helmets using which I can use/connect intercom and mount GoPro.

Well rounded useful observations. One question. I noticed that you have decided to go with stock engine/body guard. 1. Is it sufficient? 2. What is your opinion on the full tank and engine guards which many people use on such trips? Thanks
