I’ve gotten 8 cortisone shots in my back (at one time), 2 in my epidural sac for sciatica, 4 in my foot, 2 in each wrist, 1 in each shoulder, 1 in my elbow and 3 in my knee and I still can’t watch people get needles put in their skin.
The acupuncture needles are much smaller. They’re not exaggerating when they say they hardly feel them.

I like how he made the experience seem a bit easier and more relaxing. I haven't had the best experience with doctors but feel like his attitude and vibe would help make something like this easier.

I did that it on my calves. It felt like muscle stimulation. I could feel the muscle move like jumping. It made my lower legs feel alive again. I want to do it again. I got a tens unit for home use. I don't think its the same. However, I think electricity ems helps.

I am absolutely terrified of getting poked with needles like immunizations, IVs etc, but LOVE acupuncture and the relief it brings. Anyone thinking about trying it needs to research the best doctor of their area and give it a try! All ages and varieties of problems can be helped with a couple of little needles😱
