Hey everyone, thanks for watching the video. I do want to clarify a bit about D's departure as showrunner. We touched upon it in the video, but I want to go into more detail. In the fall of 2019, we were moving Corridor out of Los Angeles, and D wished to remain in LA. With the move happening, we had to let D go so he could focus on his own channel in preparation for the transition. When 2020 came around, due to circumstances changing around the Corridor Crew channel, we were required to stay in LA. Corridor ended up not moving, though D had departed as showrunner. I wanted to make it clear that he didn't just randomly leave, but that this situation is a large part of what led him to focus on his own channel, CerberusArms. -Niko
We appreciate this. I had wondered, and missed you guys, and your channel. I still wish I could work for all of you, but alas, I'm just a aspiring concept artist.
The Minecraft episode made me go way back to when I was 6, I remember my oldest brother sitting down next to me at the dinner table and he was watching the first Minecraft lan party episode and because it was Minecraft I watched and because I watched the whole series I started watching you guys
As good as D’s videos are,I’m just going to miss the charm and positive charisma he brought to Node. I feel like putting D on camera on that GTA video was one of the best decisions The Node crew has made. Sucks that something as foreseen and normal as moving out of state led to D’s departure. Best wishes for the future.
I enjoyed this video so much! I think you handled and explained the situation very well. All those who where previously involved with node will be missed. I still think this is a great platform for more casual videos where you might have guests on every once in a while. Good luck with the revival and stay healthy :)
The move they discussed in the video is one of the 2 major reasons why I left. I & my partner didn't want to leave Los Angeles. I had just fell in love with D&D and wanted try my hardest to combine my passion for video making, storytelling, and D&D together. Even if it would start out rough, and need time to grow. I left to pursue my own passion and ideas, while getting back into freelancing and help show runner other channels' series. I chose to not talk about the move, because I wanted to respect that it was corridor's business to tell the corridor audience if they were going to move and where to. The other reason why I left, I kept finding myself, not over worked, but unsatisfied & somehow always angry with myself & my creation, never felt it was good enough or that I wasn't good enough for corridor, the audience, or my love ones. Instead of being able to appreciate what I was doing and had to build a positive mindset around it, I somehow drove myself into poor mental and physical health, and nearly destroyed my relationship my partner & I. I chose to abandon ship to cure / fix myself. I didn't want to hurt my friends in and out of corridor anymore, and I didn't want to hurt the content I was making with Nick that millions of people were in love with. I know a lot of people message me still and leave comments about how they miss me at corridor, and want to know why I left, well that is why. My time outside of corridor has helped a lot, and there is a lot of healing happening and still needed, but I'm still friends with those at corridor, node, and stress level zero. I love & respect them all. I hope ya'll understand, and understand why I didn't feel comfortable mentioning the details beyond what I've already expressed in videos.
Aww man Cmike always gonna miss your touch on corridor crew videos. You and Nick had such a chemistry in your filmmaking that got me to love all of the team at Corridor. Really happy to see you open up more about what happened now that the audience has a more clear view of what's been going on at Corridor. Hope you are doing well, and staying safe too in this crazy time in the world. Much love
My biggest concern was that the friends and relationships had broken down under the production and financial pressure. I've always watched Node with a bit of envy, wishing I had a group of friends who would get up to crazy antics with me like this.
Jared Adamo unfortunately many friendships end when friend groups turn their hobbies into a business together. Good friends don’t automatically make good business partners when money is on the line. I hope D and Brandon comment on the situation because it sounds like (from other sources) that this separation wasn’t as mutual as this video makes it seem.
Yeah, friendships are hard on their own. Even harder with money, demands on time, creativity, all that. They've weathered to pretty tense stuff already.
My favorite Node moment ever, during a Spyfall game, Brandon was the spy, location was crusader army. He made just random grunts for his answer and won. It was glorious.
There is a time for everything, so despite me missing the "old NODE", hearing the complicated financial story makes me grateful for what we have seen. Thanks for providing some of the most hilarious and amazing going content ever created.
Seeing Node slowly split up throughout the time watching and not knowing why was pretty sad but now knowing why, it’s impressive to see how far they’ve gone even with the extreme lack of revenue
Those were really awesome and wished they could've done more. Also, first time I saw Jan, Jake and idk who else came in that episode as the bad guys haha
I really miss Sam’s D&D campaigns, you guys film D&D so well and Sam’s miniatures really illustrate his fantastic stories in a way other D&D channels have yet to replicate. Brandon, D, and Niko are hilarious to watch as players, and are great role players. As a DM for 9 years, I recommend Node’s videos to all my friends who love role playing games.
Honestly, miles better than Critical role and the story is edited to give you this interesting pacing, along with multiple camera angles, excellent/incredible/exquisite voice acting (mostly by Sam). I'm honestly surprised Sam isn't writing a Goddamn book for wizards. No offense to Matt merc, but Sam is the absolute GOAT.
@@Autotunethyeveryday don't get me wrong, Sam was amazing and fantastic DM. But he is light years away from Matt in every category. Just my opinion. Love them both though
Yeah, I have to say they were the reason I got into D&D in the first place. I now have a group I play with consistently every week. And I still go back and watch all of the campaigns all the time for inspiration and enjoyment. So please if possible make more of them, maybe on the new platform corridor is putting up.
As a day 1 fan It would be so cool if ya'll figured out a way to get Freddie, Jimmy, D, Brandon, Clint, Sam and Niko all together for a last D&D series again!!
i'm not one for commenting, thought i owed it to the nature of this video to leave something. Do this thing. it'll be hard as hell, but very fucking cool
No because they're lying in an attempt to save as many subs as they can. It was not a mutual split as D him self has said. Clearly hed never want to pop in for a cameo.
Dude! I found these guys like 3 years ago because of those series! They really helped me to learn how to play the game and it led me to become a fan of the whole crew.
I think I speak for all of us when I say we would still love to see D and Brandon stop by every now and then! Especially if its for a fun little DnD session. Love you all so much and I cant wait for the future of Node, D's channel and Brandon's. Much love
What surprises me is why they didn't call them in to talk about their perspectives. Niko, Sam and Jake had full control of the narrative, to the point where they put a thumbnail of D smiling on the video. D's response has been nothing short of angry and betrayed, so I'm wondering why they can't show either of them, or at least get a pre-recorded message due to the virus
@@GlitchyRijndael he means you can tell the convo with D in the 2nd half of the vid was obviously recorded a lot longer ago than the introduction and explanation. If you look at D's comments on his Instagram from a few days ago, they definitely do not match his feelings or emotion here in this vid. We should've had both D and Brandon in the first part of the vid to tell their side too.
@@GlitchyRijndael I'm confused. I checked Ds insta but couldn't see anything about being angry at all. Just wondering if it's been taken down or I looked in the wrong place
@@Harshhaze they all have public voices, and if they want to complain they will. I think they're all obviously making these choices together, and all trying to do what's best for their careers and for their channels. Of course Sam Niko and Jake "control the narrative" here - it's their channel. But if Brandon or D wanted to complain, they would on their own channels. Let's not take it more personally than the professionals who are actually involved. Just watch the videos you're interested in, and engage in the community in a positive way.
It’s weird seeing this video, I started watching node when I was around 13-14 and now I’m 22 with a couple worthless degrees and bills to pay… I just recently got back into the channel and it’s pretty sad seeing everyone go their separate ways but I can’t help but look back on some of my favorite videos of all time and be thankful. I think node truly revolutionized gaming videos on RUclips and it’s amazing that you all were able to juggle different things while pushing out consistently good content. I can only hope that the original crew gets back together someday for some content. Shoutout to all the og fans too ❤️
Same dude, I just randomly remembered Node a week ago and binge watched a-lot of my favorite videos from them, love the channel and it's crazy to see the history of it that I never realized. They've have such an impact on the video-game and youtube landscape. Never really knew they fell out, although I hope there aren't any hard feelings.
I loved the D&D Call of the Wild series. Node D&D is probably some of my favorite content ever, I have rewatched those series multiple times entirely. Also the early airsoft murder videos were great too.
Poor Sam, he's looking uncharacteristically rough in this one. Hope you guys are doing okay. Sad to see everyone going their separate ways but really happy to see a more human side to the channel. Sometimes when we're so entertained by these videos we forget that there's real people on the other end with their own struggles and sacrifices being made to keep things going. In any case, look forward to seeing where everyone is going with their own content and certainly will never forget all the crazy times you guys have shared with us till this point.
Rough, eyes focused on a distance. Only spoke when asked like it felt like he's forced into speaking 'his' insight: That's your typical textbook example of a human who has some aversions to someone, like had an argument in person or something. His actions and mannerisms betray him of how he sees D.
Sydra Carpio yeah like at 6:26 Niko is laughing at what D said and Sam is just staring at the camera with a blank expression. it honestly breaks my heart to see that. I grew up watching them and envied their friendship, so it’s hard to see this happen to them. There’s nobody that makes me laugh as hard as these guys. Niko was playing Pavlov with D on his channel, so its a relief to know they’re still on good terms. I hope someday they’ll all do something together, and fix their bond. They had something incredibly special, and I don’t like how it ended. I always wondered how the channel was gonna end, and this is definitely not at all how i expected it would happen. I know the channel hasn’t ended, but it just wont be the same without Brandon and D. It only ever felt right with all 4 of them. Even in the videos where just one of them is missing it never felt right. I love Niko and Sam, but all of them together is what truly made this channel special in my opinion. I’m gonna miss these guys making videos together.
Wow, honestly speechless... This one hits kind of hard. For YEARS and YEARS I've always referred to Node when it came to, "how I want to enjoy my time with a group of friends." The bonding, the excitement and even the little rivalries, they make the overall experience something unobtainable that you can only experience with a group of friends as close as everyone on Node. With only watching everyone on here you are able to get a taste of that experience without even participating, but I was able to sit down, see a new Node video and truly end up in tears of laughter like I was there part of the group. I truly hope this channel can continue to exist in whatever direction it may go along with all the amazing memories and friendships. Not to mention the hope for success with D and Brandon, as they were the OG's with Sam and Niko.
My favorite video from Node was “Airsoft Gmod MURDER - Clint the Lawman” , especially the part, when D went full serial killer mode and chased after Jet when he fell to the ground like in a cliche Horror movie.
This honestly made me really emotional, I remember growing up with seananners, I remember RUclips before the adpocalypse, and it was great and now all our favorite you tubers are splitting up, growing up, growing older and ya know? I’m glad that there’s the older videos to go back and reminisce but this was one way to keep up with all of you at one point, I hope you guys do well and I’ll miss y’all.
Agreed as sad is it is to say, RUclips is trying to make more money, and not fixing broken systems. If they don’t turn it around really soon we’re going to see the next disaster of 2020 being the overall collapse of the site that gave us our childhoods and sparked friendships with people all over the world. The end is near and it’s not being fixed
Really loved the "D&D call of the wild" serie, pure joy and friendship there. I wish the best of luck to all of you: The guys in Corridor Crew, D and Brandon. You'll always have a big fan from Sweden who have really enjoyed your awsome videos. Looking forward for the future of the chanal👍🏾👏🏾 best of luck!
That was indeed my favorite too. I wanted to see more like that. The pokemon DND one they did didn't really hit the same sort of marks and interest call of the wild did.
My favourite Node series was when everyone played "cry of fear" together. I really wish there had been more of those Co-op story games on the channel. I had a laughing fit as a kid at the "stop resisting" moment
The call of the wild and the haunted mansion DnD sessions have to be my personal favorite. The laughs that I got out of those two campaigns really helped to get myself out of my head for a while and enjoy life. Even now I go back and watch those whenever I’m feeling down, so thanks guys for giving people a way to escape. We love what y’all do and it helps the little people like me. Keep doing what you’re doing and good luck to everyone there in all their endeavors.
I never new that D did all the editing, props man you're editing is like the best ever definitely my favorite editing style love you guys wish node and you guys the success best of luck,')
I really can't believe it's been 8 years feels like yesterday I was watching you guys build gaming PCs. That video alone set me down a path where I've met maybe great people and had many great experiences. I hope I can watch you guys for many more years
I was about to comment the same thing I've been watching since I was a teenager and now I'm a big boy and this is one of the only channels I still watch
Jeez another "I remember" comment. I remember when D first showed up and everyone was whining "Where's freddie at!?" Heartwarming to see they gave him a sendoff, same with Carmichael
I can’t believe it. The first time I started watching node my life changed. Invited all my friends over to play TTT, nerf, friday the 13th, all of them. I’m gonna miss D and Brandon:( i will always remember all the old videos like TTT on GMOD and murder. Keep up the grind Node, I didn’t think it’d end so quick.
I just want to say this: I have full understanding of the entire sittuation, but there will always be a part of me who misses the old ttt vides just you guys and Brandon. You have my full support and i hope you the best of luck in your future projects, all of you! Thanks for reading!
This was the most mature and professional way to handle the situation, I really appreciate the honesty here and I hope all of you guys are still good friends.
Favorite moment is definitely when they played Rust and there were all those Chinese dudes on the server bullying everyone. When they kept putting out the fire and Brandon was laughing uncontrollably, I absolutely fell into Node addiction haha. I searched for every video they had after that, mostly looking for moments when Brandon would laugh so hard i think the audio would clip. Awesome.
I’ve been here for a looong time, since like 2012. But my absolute favorite series that I come back to watch all the time is the LAN Party: MAN Party Big Bear series. You guys introduced me to poker and Avalon and I play both of these all the time with my friends. I also love the Wii U videos you guys had back then in 2012 with the Mario Chase and the Luigis mansion videos. These were great series and I wish you guys the best on your future.
D seemed to have a pretty different feeling when responding to a comment five days ago on his IG. "I'm no longer showrunner since it's now owned by Corridor. Brandon and I have basically been replaced without our consent so they can make it crew 2.0 so I'm focusing on my own channel. Thanks to vfx artists react blowing up money is all that matters now" Comes across a bit strong, and you can tell he's harboring a bit of frustration, and maybe feels a bit betrayed. Hopefully relationships and friendships can be mended, regardless of what happened, who did what, or anything else regarding the business of the channel.
I'd say to take that with a grain of salt, at the very least. I've seen him be a bit abrasive on social media before- not to say he's in the wrong, though. But I think judge should be conserved untill we get the details.
I think what D said on that comment section isn't at all contradict to the whole situation they are trying to address here. I think this video was being made probably just to serve as a peaceful handshake between both sides(would love to hear what Brandon has to say though, perhaps one day)and trying to stop the drama happening under every single node videos they put out recently.
I think D left to keep it peaceful. What I'm saying here is that it went down like "Hey you can either leave or were gonna have to kick you off". Brandon had Boneworks and everyone else was already Corridor, so it makes sense what happened. D was basically just in the right spot and the wrong time. Edit: Now seeing Niko's comment, I see that they stayed but just didnt rehire D. That sounds like a mean move Unless they offered him a job back and he refused.
+Pablo Neito Other comments in the pinned Node comment are pretty much pointing out that this was recorded months before hand and is likely during when they were going to move out of LA. So it's likely that they fired him and didn't rehire him when deciding to stay which led to his current resentment.
@@tranilator or maybe D refused to be hired cause he didn't agree with Corridor's vision. Guys please don't jump to conclusion, drama is the last thing that is needed in these transition moments. We don't have the full story and it is irresponsible to accuse people only based on assumptions.
This is definitely a sad sight, up until now I had fallen off with NODE, I stopped watching sometime around 2019 July ish. Just recently I wanted to rewatch all of the Attack on Titan tribute game videos to commemorate the release of the final season of AOT. I finished all of those today and came across this video, I noticed in the recent content D has been missing. I didn't think much of it, but after watching this video I just want to thank all of the NODE guys for giving me and many more a really great part of their life, I spent my middle and high school years watching the funny antics that happened. I'm going to college now for visual effects because of the entire Corridor channel. From the bottom of my heart, thank you a lot.
I watched the D&D videos like 3 times over. I loved the story, characters, and the editing! Not to mention how enthralled you all were in it which just made each episode so much better. I would kill to see a return of that series!
The foam sword duels where D had a behind the back sword block was probably my favorite. Although the Call of the Wild campaign introduced my friend group to D&D, so hard to choose!!
The call of the wild D&D campaign was definitely my favorite. I never watched an episode of critical role before that and seeing maps using props dwarven forge like buildings which got me into playing D&D. Hoping for another original campaign like that in the future.
I love watching D on his channel, but it still won't be the same without his friends :( But hey, at least we get to see what unfolds after these great steps the Node channel has taken
Watching these videos for so long, I really start to feel like I'm friends with these guys. Other channels it's just someone playing a part in front of a camera, but here it's friends hanging out and making memories. You can really see everyone's true personality. Thank you so much
As long as you guys are still friends by the end of the day, I’m happy. Also, would love it if D and Brandon could come back as guest, maybe get the old Airsoft crew back together and play some TTT or any other game, mainly because the Airsoft and Nerf videos are my favorite, especially when you guys played at the mansions.
I don't think they are friends anymore atleast not like before. If they were they would have invited Brandon and D to talk about the departure. The 2nd part of the video with D in it was filmed a long time ago.
@@pinakijana9479 could just be that they're busy. With everything that's been going on over the last few months it could just be that they didn't have time. I have friends that I haven't spoken to in months, but if I message them they chat. It doesn't mean we aren't still friends.
@@pinakijana9479 might've been hard to get people to film with the pandemic going on and all, as they did mention scheduling issues and such delaying the filming of the video up until now
I don’t see anything on D’s insta... and D would have said something by now if he disagreed with what they said in this video. It seems like everything is legit
Well damn, never mind, its right there on his latest post. This seems pretty shady to me, here’s hoping D comes out with the truth, whatever it may be.
I would say the most memorable Node moments are: Artemis, DayZ restaurant, GTA “All by Myself”, Live Action Spy Party, PUBG Bridge Boyz and Spyfall. D better comeback for airsoft cuz some of those Corridor guys really aren’t that great at Airsoft.
The overall chemistry each of the original cast of node had is what drew me to node in the first place, all though i understand why they left and the financial trouble it feels like this channel should be change to something like Corridor Gaming, it's not that I don't like Jake, wren, christian, nick, etc. It just felt more like each person had their own unique personality to themselves while the newer cast seems to blend in with Sam and niko. I guess i'll just wait and see how they recover.
The thing I loved about node was that you guys were just having fun. I miss the old crew but I can’t wait to see what you guys do with the channel. My favourite video is the Minecraft movie and the old bigbear LAN party. I have watched Node since 2013.
I'm sad to see D go. He was always an iconic, fundamental part of Node: no one else could pull off the cool, collected badass/bad guy figure like he could. Thank you for making Node videos special!
I’m just not ready to let go of my childhood... I always hoped I’d get to meet you guys someday, but like you said, you’re all parents now, doing separate things... thanks for a great run.
In May of last year, I went through a really rough breakup with a long-term partner. On days where I was especially feeling sad, depressed, etc., I would always turn on a Node video. I’m sure this is something that gets thrown around a lot, but watching Node’s content really helped me get through one of the darkest times of my life. To know that any video I could turn on would be friends playing fun games and genuinely having a good time always got me hooked. I’m upset that it’s a breakup, but I’m happy that it’s an amicable one, and that Brandon and D are pursuing projects about which they’re very passionate. I’ve been a fan since 2012 and I will continue to be one until the channel is no more :) In terms of my favorite videos, I always love watching you guys play spyfall, and any IRL ‘Murder’ videos are usually great to watch as well. I also love the Nintendo land videos (pretty sure those were the first ones?). Can’t wait to see what this channel produces in the future
Super appreciate the open communication you're keeping with your fans here and that's exactly how you've always kept me as a subscribed fan. Looking forward to the future
I still watch Node daily, Gmod TTT and Spyfall. Still laughing at Lil' Nardo's and Gang Beasts. Looking forward to your new videos and ofcourse we'll watch them!
It’s been 6 years, Node has helped me through some dark times in my life and it’s been really great seeing the way it’s affecting other people’s life’s and even how everyone in Node has really become someone. In the best way to put it, they were like flowers before they blossomed and now they’ve blossomed and even as a person I haven’t watched as much as I wish I could, but from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Node for being one of the biggest influences in my life. When I struggled with suicidal thoughts watching your guys helped take my mind off them. I would look forward to the Monday Wednesday Friday videos and it was so welcoming and filled me with warmth just to come to the channel and see my favorite youtubers. Thank you for saving my life Node, love you guys
You guys are great, you guys are legit. All you want to do is to have fun and share it with the world. I remember discovering Node on 2014 and i've been watching since then because of the people and the effort put in this channel. Same with corridor, a lot of effort and passion. You are my favorite "Crew channel" in youtube.
This was one of the first channels I started watching on RUclips never realized how much it impacted me until this moment. Sad to see it move away from what it once was. The content was amazing
I’ve been with this channel since the AoT days and every video is still the same. It’s a great time to laugh, smile, and always have fun watching and I’ve always wanted to try and join this crew as a VFX artists or a creator. I just wanted to say thank you for making your own special spot in my childhood
Here’s my issue. I love CD and Node and D. My issue lies in Nikos response to D leaving. He said he “decided” to go his own way to work on his own channel. Then, going back to D’s most recent instagram post, he responds to a comment asking about the situation by saying “I’m no longer the showrunner since it’s now owned by Corridor. Brandon and I have basically been replaced without our consent so they can make it crew 2.0 so I’m focusing on my own channel. Thanks to vfx artists react blowing up money is all that matters now.” Then I go onto this video seeing them all act like it’s a happy family looking back at all their memories together? Why would D say that and accuse the corridor crew of being money hungry heartless business owners if Niko says that leaving node was D’s decision? I have always respected niko for his unbiased way of speaking and delivering any sort of argument or message. So the question remains, did D really get kicked out without consent? What is the true intention behind this buy out? And does the corridor crew know what they’ve done or how D feels about this? Regardless, I’ll still support and watch all three of the channels as I’m a big fan of all the content but I wish this wasn’t so sketchy. Can you guys clarify?
Or he was trolling the fans? I had also read the comment but reading it again now, it kinda seems exaggerated...almost troll-like Also, even if something happened after shooting this video, D still talked about his own will of leaving right?
I noticed that the talk between you guys (Sam, Niko, D) was recorded a while ago. I really hope that despite all the organizational changes and different approach you all stay friends and have good relations and are able to have fun together from time to time. Seeing D's comment about being left out without consent I'm worried that not everything is clear between you (and that the truth lies somewhere between D's point of view and yours in this video). Please, putting the channel, money, showrunning and business aside, just make sure that everything is worded, listened and cleared out (privately) between you as human beings and (hopefully still) friends. That's all I care for here. The attitude can be sensed in your and D's comments (I don't know about Brandon, I feel like he just moved 100% of his attention to his game dev company).
This was honestly my favorite channel on RUclips for quite a long time. I can't remember my first video that I watched, but the videos that stuck out the most to me were: Attack on Titan series, it was so WELL DONE and the emotion behind everyone playing was so real, that I wanted to be a part of that and went and played that game myself, but ended up just coming back again and again to watch those videos. Call of the Wild D&D: This one is probably not as popular to everyone else that watches, but this struck a chord in me, and showed me how awesome D&D was. It was awesome to see you all play, and I wish you all got to do another short campaign like call of the wild, because I couldn't get into the other ones you all did. Also, congragulations, that was my first RUclips merch I bought. A green call of the wild shirt, which is so worn-out that the graphic is fading on it. I still go watch the super-cut Call of the Wild the Movie to this day lol. Nerf & Airsoft: I imagine these shows were always the ones that did the best, but remembering back to when you all were playing in that big cabin (Big Bear? I think was it's name) Just was overall good and clean fun, and not to mention all the future videos that were made with Nerf and Airsoft. Honestly, it's really hard to accept change, and to see Brandon and D fade away to their own projects. But, I can appreciate what they are both doing. With Brandon working on Boneworks (unpopular opinion, which is BETTER than Half Life: Alyx), and D working on his own channel. But, I have been a lurker for many years, but I feel like I have been through a lot with you all. Good luck to you all, and we will see where Node takes us now.
This video just reminded me how much I've actually watched your channel. I remember waiting for every new episode of D&d or day z, kept me entertained for hours. Also, spyfall, which I occasionally play with my friends now. Thanks for putting me onto it and thanks for all you've made!
I remember watching everyone build their computers way back when, and it inspired me to build my own computer, but I was really young back then so I couldn't, but since then, I've been able to set up my own rig. Node was my childhood.
I don’t often comment, but seriously, I love you guys. I’ve been watching for a while and it’s really cool to have grown up viewing your videos and shit. Being an 18 year old now and maturing along side your channel has been a lovely experience and it was great to get some closure, memories, and future plans in a video like this. If you guys really read every comment, I hope you understand that your friendships and work have inspired and made many people happy. 🤙 Thank you.
Been with you all since the beginning and I'll still be here till the end. Things change. Things evolve. I will miss the old times. I hope the OGs can come back every now and again on the channel though. Trost video! One of my favs too!
I don't think they're going to come back especially when Corridor didn't even bothered to bring them in for a farewell video. Instead they used a pre recorded video of D. That's just disrespectful
@@pinakijana9479 That was his farewell video, going over his favorite moments. They probably wanted to do a better one but with everyone asking about what happened and this whole Corona issue they had to just throw this together.
@@TheCreateOutdoors Read Niko's comment above and the replies. They took over Node, fired D and Brandon when they did not want to move out of LA with Sam and Niko. D had to do something for living so he made his own channel. Then vfx guys react series blew up and with the money coming in hot Sam & Niko decided not to move out of LA anymore. But now that they are back in LA they didn't re-hire D or Brandon. Didn't even gave them a proper farewell. Same thing happened with CMike. But atleast he got a farewell. Corridor only told the viewers that "they wanted to work on their own channel that's why they left". I never liked Sam but didn't think Niko's gonna be a snake. They even started deleting top comments related to D on this thread. Fuck Corridor.
One of the best things from the channel for me is the group playing multiplayer in VR in the same room. Not only splitscreen /LAN isn't as popular as before, but it will be years before VR becames the norm, so it's really cool to experience from you guys. Never stop being great.
Those spyfall videos for some reason were always a source of entertainment when they came out, I'm genuinely glad that the decision was made not to axe the channel.
I literally grew up watching Node after I found FreddieW in 2011. 9 years later I am now 23 and can’t count how many times Ive died laughing at your videos (the Day-Z boyfriend video being one of my favorites). Thank you to Niko, Sam, Brandon, D, Freddie, and the whole cast of characters over the years. I think the channel has grown into something amazing, but isn’t something I care for anymore. I love you all and wish you the best!
The Call of the Wild DnD series is definitely my favorite. God, I've been here since your first Battlefield 4 gameplay. Even watched the gaming news show before LAN Party was a thing. Things change, but I'm glad you guys are still keeping it up and running. Here's to 7 more years!
Just want to say, without a doubt, the Human Fall Flat series was my favorite. It perfectly fit the definition of what Node was. Always left me with a smile every single week when you uploaded each video. I typically come back to watch that series cause it makes me happy to watch you guys genuinely have so much fun playing together.
"2 DA STREET" has always been one of my favourites and d&d series and spyfall videos off the top of my head but there's so many other memorable moments.... Day z, gang beasts, smash bros, vr accounting King of vr, garry's mod, sakura digger, attack on titan, ttt, minecraft, gorn , prop hunt, big bear, besiege, chivalry, gta, farming simulator ... The list goes on, there's too many to name them all. I've been watching since the beginning when you had tagged and history of gaming and all that and I just want to say thank you, to all of you guys at node, current and past members for all the memories. It's been absolutely amazing watching you guys over the years, and such a joy to watch, where I've been in fits of laughter so much it's made me cry. I'll cherish the memories and I'll always continue to watch, thank you for some of the best and funniest times of my life. All the best for everything in the future, to all of you. Thanks!
Bit late but I’m still coming back to watch this. This comment is exactly how I feel, I basically watched this channel from the start of my secondary school years right up to now, but unfortunately I just can’t watch it anymore, it isn’t my cup of tea, the only content that seems enjoyable is the videos with Eli doubletap and BRCC, overall though great memories and I’ll still come back to watch old videos.
I've been watching these guys play video games since I was 10 years old. I'm 17 now and this video really hits it home for me. Thank you guys for everything you've done for all these years. Looking forward to future projects from each of you.
NODE was how I got into all of you guys, where I discovered everyone at Stress lvl 0 and RocketJump etc, I love everyone at Corridor crew and NODE and onward and I hope you guys keep goin on and making fun vids with your friends etc :)
-Niko
Will D and Brandon make guest appearances on Node? Is there any potential on future D&D videos? Because I love that series.
Dont worry Cmike, you'll always be the nicest dude. Glad you did what was best for you at the time :)
Much love
Thank you for telling us your story. We miss you but I believe you are happier where you are, and that comforts us. Take care, buddy!
Your great!
You really are the nicest dude, Cmike. Sad as I am to no longer see you in Corridor videos, I totally understand. Look after yourself.
My biggest concern was that the friends and relationships had broken down under the production and financial pressure.
I've always watched Node with a bit of envy, wishing I had a group of friends who would get up to crazy antics with me like this.
Yeah it's nice to know things came to a close smoothly, these guys' chemistry really made the channel better than the other gaming channels out there
Jared Adamo unfortunately many friendships end when friend groups turn their hobbies into a business together. Good friends don’t automatically make good business partners when money is on the line. I hope D and Brandon comment on the situation because it sounds like (from other sources) that this separation wasn’t as mutual as this video makes it seem.
Looks like all the friendships are still intact. Priorities are shifting though.
Daniel Burks where was d mad?
Yeah, friendships are hard on their own. Even harder with money, demands on time, creativity, all that.
They've weathered to pretty tense stuff already.
My favorite Node moment ever, during a Spyfall game, Brandon was the spy, location was crusader army. He made just random grunts for his answer and won. It was glorious.
What vid was that?
Steve McBride that was the best
Oh he's good! He knows the location... ahahaha. Man those videos are amazing...
I just remembered this memory I didn’t know that I had stored
THIS
There is a time for everything, so despite me missing the "old NODE", hearing the complicated financial story makes me grateful for what we have seen. Thanks for providing some of the most hilarious and amazing going content ever created.
Complicated financial stories? More like Corridor taking over Node and forcing D and Brandon to walk out of the channel.

Seeing Node slowly split up throughout the time watching and not knowing why was pretty sad but now knowing why, it’s impressive to see how far they’ve gone even with the extreme lack of revenue
big sad
tbh they have lots of experience making money go far, they all come from the early early days of RUclips
My favorite has gotta be the “Call of The Wild” D&D Campaign, those videos actually got me interested into D&D and now I play it almost everyday
I was thinking the same thing I wish they would do another one
Those were really awesome and wished they could've done more. Also, first time I saw Jan, Jake and idk who else came in that episode as the bad guys haha
I learned a lot about D&D from Campaign
Yes D&D was the best, loved the vids
Yes awesome series! One of their best
Here's hoping D and Brandon still show up from time to time.
Me too.
I agree with this statement.
Agreed
yep
Macharius Bonin yeah
Node without D is just Noe
:(
LMAO
bruh
Dude you summed it all up in a sentence.
Too accurate
Simple. Truth.
You probably know about them but have you checked out critical role? They are a fantastic bunch to watch d&d also! Or listen to on podcasts
Well, yeah. That because he’s Mathew frickin Mercer
As a day 1 fan It would be so cool if ya'll figured out a way to get Freddie, Jimmy, D, Brandon, Clint, Sam and Niko all together for a last D&D series again!!
And somehow get Harley to come back.
Please dear god read this and do this
i'm not one for commenting, thought i owed it to the nature of this video to leave something. Do this thing. it'll be hard as hell, but very fucking cool

No because they're lying in an attempt to save as many subs as they can. It was not a mutual split as D him self has said. Clearly hed never want to pop in for a cameo.
The DnD modules you guys ran were the most memorable for me. Real friends having real fun!
The haunted Mansion😂 LMAO
Dude! I found these guys like 3 years ago because of those series! They really helped me to learn how to play the game and it led me to become a fan of the whole crew.
@@Will_Kempkes that had me cracking up like nothing else, especially D's vampire wannabe character!
I agree pokemon
Darth Axolotl It’s a reply on his latest post. He also replied to a comment on a jedi video on his channel, might have to do a bit of digging tho.
I got really scared when I saw that Title.
I thought that this was going to be a episode about the channel ending when I saw the title.

When LordDarkhammer came through the door with Sam;s Boys shirts on... classik

I watched this channel throughout my childhood, kinda sad to see people go their different ways but I am happy for them.
Beta Bear me too ;(
Right there with ya
Gonna miss the old Node, but I hope that the company keeps growing. Good luck Corridor crew. WIsh you all the best
I'll never forget that TTT airsoft vid where D "takes the shot"

Easily one of the best moments with Sam and D.

What video was that one?

It's okay guys, I felt so bad for all of the crew throughout this video, wish you all the best. Good wishes to D and Brandon!
I feel the same way dude
They pulled the ol bait n switch on those guys! They shouldn't have let them go until the move was finalized. Sounds like a bs excuse at this point.
Yeah, this really hits hard, I wished they will be together forever

Øyvind Nilsen hahaha enig
My favorite video from Node was “Airsoft Gmod MURDER - Clint the Lawman” , especially the part, when D went full serial killer mode and chased after Jet when he fell to the ground like in a cliche Horror movie.
I totally forgot about that one! ^_^

This honestly made me really emotional, I remember growing up with seananners, I remember RUclips before the adpocalypse, and it was great and now all our favorite you tubers are splitting up, growing up, growing older and ya know? I’m glad that there’s the older videos to go back and reminisce but this was one way to keep up with all of you at one point, I hope you guys do well and I’ll miss y’all.
same, just the pure nostalgia keeps the spirits up at times. Things are changing but we always have the memories that got us through it all :)
Awh yes Seananno
Agreed as sad is it is to say, RUclips is trying to make more money, and not fixing broken systems. If they don’t turn it around really soon we’re going to see the next disaster of 2020 being the overall collapse of the site that gave us our childhoods and sparked friendships with people all over the world. The end is near and it’s not being fixed
"Matt and Pat are no longer friends"

Michael Dittmar i play the resistance because of those videos too. I still go back and watch those episodes.
Absolutely my favorite moments of the channel as well. MAN Party and the Wii U videos are the only ones I rewatched.
D seemed to have a pretty different feeling when responding to a comment five days ago on his IG.
"I'm no longer showrunner since it's now owned by Corridor. Brandon and I have basically been replaced without our consent so they can make it crew 2.0 so I'm focusing on my own channel. Thanks to vfx artists react blowing up money is all that matters now"
Comes across a bit strong, and you can tell he's harboring a bit of frustration, and maybe feels a bit betrayed.
D better comeback for airsoft cuz some of those Corridor guys really aren’t that great at Airsoft.
Tactical D is an icon
The overall chemistry each of the original cast of node had is what drew me to node in the first place, all though i understand why they left and the financial trouble it feels like this channel should be change to something like Corridor Gaming, it's not that I don't like Jake, wren, christian, nick, etc. It just felt more like each person had their own unique personality to themselves while the newer cast seems to blend in with Sam and niko. I guess i'll just wait and see how they recover.
CALL OF THE WILD! It literally got me into D&D.
Same dude!
Me too, and that led me venturing in this D&D community and end up being in love with Critical Role!
Lol I was watching it before I opened this video
Hooty Hoo - Named by the Owlbear from his own fake decision.
The thing I loved about node was that you guys were just having fun. I miss the old crew but I can’t wait to see what you guys do with the channel. My favourite video is the Minecraft movie and the old bigbear LAN party. I have watched Node since 2013.
The "2 DA STREET" moment still makes me laugh to this day
One of my favourite moments for sure
Yes! Loved that so much! Which vid was it from?
@@Neferazo " Animal crossing: a day with freddiew and corridordigital", I think is the title or just search Node 2 da streetz
"TTT No Terrorist Prank" I would consider to be my favorite one."
AIRSOFT TTT - Take The SHOT! Is cool too.
gachiBASS Clap
CLASSIC
Was there also a "no murderer Murder"? I don't remember anymore, maybe I am mixing it up.
Oh my god yes that’s the best video
AIRSOFT TTT - Take The SHOT, Niko played as a T so well in that video
To this day, it's your guys DND videos that got me into DND. Call of the Wild was one of the best series I've ever watched.
wow..... thanks for the transparency and honest insight into the situation. it's some good info for people getting into video production
This hurts...One of my favorites was from GMOD murder in the dark when Niko broke is flashlight and started giggling hysterically.
I love the fact that Sam has a berserk shirt love these guys
Sam wears Berserk and Neko wears Carpenter Brut.
Lil' nardo has to be my favorite episode yet
@@RicanSamurai Don't forget Chinese food Prop Hunt
No we wont
The dnd series with Harley was so good. Definitely made me laugh the hardest!
*claps very nicely and respectfully* ✊
Stay strong my friend. We are all here to support each other
You guys are great, you guys are legit. All you want to do is to have fun and share it with the world. I remember discovering Node on 2014 and i've been watching since then because of the people and the effort put in this channel. Same with corridor, a lot of effort and passion. You are my favorite "Crew channel" in youtube.
I miss those attack on titan videos lol. Those were hype
Oof the memories man
That's how I found them
This was one of the first channels I started watching on RUclips never realized how much it impacted me until this moment. Sad to see it move away from what it once was. The content was amazing
“Take the shot”, Jet and D icing everyone, the mordhual series, cry of fear, gta mods, and battlegrounds all come to mind.
oh the pubg videos.
I agree that the two stories do not mesh perfectly together. I am unsure how untruthful both of them are.
The part with D is from a video they did a while ago so I agree with you we dont even know why he was mad at them
I don't wanna know really, at least for me, don't wanna listen to any of this anymore and hate drama so..I'd let it go, but that's just me.
Or he was trolling the fans? I had also read the comment but reading it again now, it kinda seems exaggerated...almost troll-like
Also, even if something happened after shooting this video, D still talked about his own will of leaving right?
Yes and the clip at the end with the three of them was from a long time ago
AngryPotato where can I see D’s comments on being left out?

This was honestly my favorite channel on RUclips for quite a long time. I can't remember my first video that I watched, but the videos that stuck out the most to me were:
Attack on Titan series, it was so WELL DONE and the emotion behind everyone playing was so real, that I wanted to be a part of that and went and played that game myself, but ended up just coming back again and again to watch those videos.
Node was my childhood.
this was me too! i looked at all the prices and it was way too much for me. but i finally built mine
This truly the best comment. I come and go (which makes things really confusing lol), but everything always changes.
@@pinakijana9479 definitely not the best execution for sure.
I have been watching Node for YEARS, roughly around when Corridor released Tether, and I always thought that D owned the channel lmao
MrMarshallMan3 me Too Im heart broke
This is truly devastating. This has been one of my favorite RUclips channels for a long time.
Those spyfall videos for some reason were always a source of entertainment when they came out, I'm genuinely glad that the decision was made not to axe the channel.
Does it matter if the channel is so different you don't even recognize it anymore?
"2 DA STREETZ!!!!!" *Massive air horn blasts*
Legendary moment.
All those wii-u vids were great
‘Aw, you shot me right in the neck!’
Now thats a call back
OH MAH GAWSH FOO I LOVE THAT AND I NEED TO SEE IT AGAIN. 2 DA STREETS HORNS BLARE
Thank you for the candor guys, I will keep watching and supporting Node
"Add your tractor to the pile" still a classic
HAHAHAHA I’m still made I never got the “PUT YOUR TRACTOR IN THE PILE” shirt before they sold out 😂
omg YES!
Lol the first year of Node was still the best for me
I miss the Call of the Wild days :’(
I missed their D&D stuff.
I've been watching these guys play video games since I was 10 years old. I'm 17 now and this video really hits it home for me. Thank you guys for everything you've done for all these years. Looking forward to future projects from each of you.
By far my favourite videos were "Call of the Wild" D&D 5E, that and Lord of the Rings actually pushed me to play D&D on the regular
NODE was how I got into all of you guys, where I discovered everyone at Stress lvl 0 and RocketJump etc, I love everyone at Corridor crew and NODE and onward and I hope you guys keep goin on and making fun vids with your friends etc :)
Me and my girlfriend will often go back and binge TTT videos. The "Everyone is innocent" video is probably the one we watch the most.
The DnD videos are some of my favorite content on RUclips in general. I absolutely love this channel and I hope you all well during this strange time.
The greatest video *without a doubt* that you've ever made.... ARTEMIS Spaceship Bridge Simulator with Captain Logan
Johnny Joseph HAHAHAHAH!!!!! That one is fucking amazing! Sam has some of the funniest one liners ever.
Yeah, that was so cool!
That was my first Node episode! I was looking for a full crew playthrough and Brandon's mannerisms brought me in.
I forgot about that one! Holy shit that was hilarious!
