Hey guys! Huge shoutout to the Digital Controllers! Having them in our missions really increases the fun factor and realism! If you'd like to become a DCS World Controller please check out their discord here: discord.gg/g7pBMjeX
In every sim, whether it be MSFS 2020, X-Plane or DCS, there's always that hardcore group of people who are the glue to the community. They are the ones that make it so immersive and so realistic. Mad props to all you unsung heroes of our sim worlds. Without you, we're stuck with the AI version and that leaves a lot to be desired!
Even though I was really tired this was still an absolute blast and the mission (both from Jedi flights and the mission makers perspective was an absolute success!
Awesome video, Spud! Love the partnering with Digital Controllers! As usual, your mission video is top notch -- thanks for all your hard work for us viewers!
Seeing a cold start for 10 minutes straight can’t be that entertaining, but it is 🤪also SRS sure gives a lot of immersion instead of just a regular voice chat.
It's clever how you've turned a certain early 1970's real world Middle Eastern conflict into a modern version of Elbonia vs North Elbonia with camels, falafel and pyramids. I like the idea, must have been a huge amount of work.
I just realize that you only have around 60K subs, wich is already a great accomplishment don’t get me wrong but just amazes me that the number is not closer to 500K.Always such good content, great mission and community.Keep up the good work.
What day/time do you normally do these missions? I’m in the process of getting everything together so I can start flying. Have the warthog Hotas, need pedals and probably a new graphics card and the data cable for my Quest 2.
Hey man, biggest thing with formation flying and tanking is RELAX, relax your grip on the controls, and make sure your control curves work for you to smooth things out, and look through the aircraft your trying to fly formation with as opposed to getting over fixated on it. Also always try to match your bank angle with the aircraft you’re trying to fly formation with
Thanks, curves is a good idea as I’ve not tried altering them yet. I try the relaxed bit, dedicated a couple hours a week to practice and keep my frustration/stress low, and then move into to something else. Im at the point that keeping the throttle moving works to a point then I either lose it slightly when adjusting my approach or what I can’t seem to handle is the small pitch change that results from the throttle movement. Maybe I’ll be ready for Xmas in Dhimar!
2:11:16 Spud tunes Approach expecting nice, clean comms - only to hear "I don't see it man" from the 141-puppy-mill commercial pilot who is completely blind and lost... XD
@@Spudknocker sorry spud, but I am biased!! I was the maintenance/logistics officer for CVW-3 in the mid 90s. We were still flying the kitty and the intruders!!! I even got a ride on a cat!!! I got to be goose for almost 3 hours.😁😁😁

Haha we need to make a sacrifice to the algorithm gods... they require a chicken, but I could only get a bucket of KFC on short notice

Wow, thank you!
One day I hope to have enough knowledge to participate in one of these.
The best way to gain that knowledge is to join and fly as a wingman!

This was my first mission a little overwhelming but high light of my summer so far!!
Damn bro really? I'm sorry
Another great mission! Was tons of fun to fly and even bagged a JF-17 myself. Hope to join the next one colonel. 🫡
Awesome dude I'll see you there man!
Great video!

All this crazy stuff happening and Buccaneer flight was just chilling in the orbit dumb fat and happy
LOL sorry Tide! I guess you saved the tax payers some moolah though by bringing back some weapons
@@SpudknockerMust’ve missed the part where we rippled 24 GBU-38’s on one SA-11 site 😅

New to dcs finding different channels I've been a fan for couple years of Grimm Reapers channels have you missioned with them?
I have in the past, timezone difference makes it tough for sure

Great Mission! What software are you using to make such great briefings?
More of this please
Yes sir!
Great video, keep it up
Because of task saturation, I don’t think I listened to a word of what red crown told me to do😂😂 (juice 7-1)
LOL you should listen! It might save your life! Haha!
@@Spudknocker No kidding, I only made it out of there by the skin of my teeth on some novice SRM stuff
