  • Hey everyone, Kevin here. I figured I’d start a RUclips channel that felt a little more personable as I brought you all along on my adventures. Florida can be a tough state to camp in. I usually camp twice a week from November until March with friends. I still camp through the summer, just not as frequently as other adventures seem to take up the long summer days. I work rotating 12 hour shifts that allow me to have off 14+ days a month. Combine that with my sense of adventure and I'm able to see what the states really have to offer. So please, go ahead, subscribe and follow along for some fun outdoor adventures!

    I just wanted let you know you gave some great advice about making time and go close. So many people get caught up with their busy lives and forget what is really important. Thanks for the reminder!

    Nice point about local camping, more time traveling the road to get to the camping, less time to enjoy camping!

    30 minutes away for me too, never been there. I’m by Alexander Springs. I know some places you would like out here! That’s a busy busy area! Hood down the street and the center of the Villages

    Do they have hookups? We have the same camper and I need A/C this time of year. Oh….and that has to be the cleanest Coleman stove I have ever seen.

      Ron changed his work schedule a few years ago and we don't have the same days off anymore. But he still comes out and cooks when he can.

    Love your video! Thank you! Are you active duty or a veteran? I saw your Nine Line sticker and pup has Veteran collar? If you don’t answer I get it “Need to know.” I’m retired United States Air Force. My son is active duty now.

    Love little shorts trips. Does Jillian have a lift on her 4Runner? We are looking to get a 4Runner and love the stance hers has.

    • @OverlandFlorida
      @OverlandFlorida  Год назад

      She does, maybe she will chine in with her exact lift. but I think it's about 5 inches in total.

      Yes, I have a Dobinson lift. The front springs are C59-314s and the rears are C59-701V. It was intended to be 2.5" in the front and 3" in the back, but with the weight distribution I have, it ends up being about 3" all around.

    How much water do you carry? I have the same Dometic water system. I am picking up my new Venturist from the dealership this week. Any words of wisdom?

    • @OverlandFlorida
      @OverlandFlorida  10 месяцев назад

      I carry no more than 5 gallons.
      When you pick up your runaway, check all the caulking really well. It can get messy. Check the door frames and make sure they aren’t all crooked. Go inside, close the door and look for light gaps coming in.
