I recently decided to start hydroponics farming and NGL i've met more real people with real life experiences to learn from doing this than any interaction I've had online. Pandemic really forced me into online interactions and it was really hard to wean myself off of it because it's so instant. but actually going out of your way to meet people encourages you to make most of your time together. I've had better conversations with fellow farmers, delivery guys, public transport drivers etc. The internet made me forget I actually had good social skills because the worst people online kind of gaslight you into thinking you're horrible at conversations because they're so easily offended.

I used to do gunpla, got interrupted by life events about 8 years ago and have not done any since even tho I bought myself a full new set of The Army Painter paints to encourage myself, I just never seem to set aside the time, I still have loads unbuilt including two limited edition Gundam Front ones.

I remembere when my aunt used to own a beach cabin. We'd go down there every year, and she'd force me to go outside and have fun instead of just playing my Gamecube the entire time. Even bribed me with money to get off my game, knowing I'd immediately spend it on a snack or candy. I miss when we'd go down there. Though, then again, I also got hit with a rogue wave that went up to my hips last time I was there. Turns out water proof boots stop being water proof if it pours in from the top!
