I find shapes in ceiling tiles, in floors, in clouds, anything that has any kind of pattern. Done that since I was a little kid.
The color of the red Divit Shilp hook is beautiful.
Beautiful hooks! You remind me of myself. I look at petterns in the clouds, flooring, etc and find pictures of thing in them. Lol

Well Jennifer, 2 weeks ago I got my first Furls hook and I've gotten 3 more on sale since. Now I'm going to lust after these hooks. I LOVE the Furls because they are beautiful and so comfy in my aging hands. I love the colors of all these hooks. They make as happy as all my yarn.

Love your 2 new crochet hooks, very fancy looking and they look like they would be very comfortable in your hand. I have arthritis so I need a thicker handle so I can crochet 3 hours or more at a time. I did use the slim aluminum hooks in my 20's without any problems but I don't use them anymore
I have got tell you, when I first saw the start of this video, I almost bust out laughing, cuz I've never seen your hair in strands like this. You are just so fun to watch and listen to. You are a very good informing teacher for my learning more about crocheting, even tho I've been crocheting for years, but mostly all Afghan of scarves. Not much clothes. A few beanies. Love ya!!!

Jennifer I got the same two but got a 5 1/2 mm in coffee and a 5mm in red. I love this shape hook and have been using them so much. I bought the Divit hooks first b4 the Ommi hooks. Love them both.

I got a Divit Shilp last week (it was a wooden one) and had to send it back. It was 4.5 mm and the head was HUGE! It was also very sharp. It kept catching on the yarn, no matter what fiber I used and made the stitches way too big. The heads on the ones you have don't look to be nearly as large as the one I had. Your shirt is very pretty.

You can always add some elastic to your sleeves.
The colors in your blouse are gorgeous. I agree with the sleeve issue. It looks like you could take flight. I personally think that the blouse looks great on you. It has a slimming effect and accentuates your curves in a good way.

It's not an ugly shirt it's just a comfy shirt and girl the sleeves need to be redhead redone! You should not sugar coat anything and you should love the fact that your daughter will tell you when something is ugly cuz that just means she's being completely honest with you and loving you more! Are you comfortable that's all that really matters girl cuz nobody can see your Halloween pants!. The red divot Shield is a beautiful crochet hook! The black and white is a gorgeous it looks like coffee and cream! Looks like the backwards coffee shop from Farrell's! So beautiful.
Shorten the sleeves on the shirt to your desired length and wear it with your usual class... it is lovely 😘

I did buy the Ommi hooks…. Put it down with my yarn walked away for less than five minutes came back sat on it and snapped it in half. Lol so I had to purchase another one but I still like it better than the Furls that I used to be in love with

I love how light and smooth they are. Also they are very pretty hooks. I don't mind paying the $12 as they are worth it. Now I am saving my Anazon prime rewards to get more. That way I can off set the higher price. I have not yet broken any. I drop them and sit on them they are fine. Maybe Ive been lucky.

I've purchased 7 Ommi hooks over the last few months. I picked up a resin Shlip hook and a creative tales hook(It's $14.95 but beautiful wood design) and they are similar to the Ommi. Love love my Ommi's. I have arthritis and had stopped crocheting because it hurt so much. Last month I made the boho bag (I found that natura fiber denim ribbon but in a lighter color) with my Ommi hook and had very little pain(from using different muscles than knitting I think). Love my bag and it's now my go to for most everything. I agree the shirt sleeves need modified. Otherwise it's nice. I had to edit cause I had the wrong hook that has the deep throat. Ommi wooden hooks must have that feature and I find it harder to work with on some yarns. Mainly the ribbon yarn I used for the boho bag so far.

The hook you can’t find Walmart has that one. I got the black and orange for Halloween and a pink and yellow. I really like them and thanks for showing those hooks. The Divit hooks on Amazon are all over $2,000 dollars, I know you wouldn’t spend that.

The not so ugly shirt is destined to hang in the wardrobe because somehow you don't feel comfortable in it. perhaps you could gift it to someone who might love it and wear it. We all have things in our wardrobes and drawers that we haven't worn for years if ever. I really should declutter. Unloved things then might find good homes. Like little unloved puppies.
Those hooks do look like Ommi ones. I am not keen on them. A bit like you feel about your shirt..
Think urns probably are made from resin nowadays. It's strong and doesn't degrade.

So cute!!! NOT UGLY! U LOOK GREAT, but YES WHY bell sleeves.
I ordered a neck light from amazon, to help me see the black yarn that I'm crocheting with. I use small c or b size hooks, 2.5 mm or 3.00 mm, I doubt they make this size in the divit shilp. If they do make them for b pr c size, I would break them in a hot minute.
The red Divit Shilp the pattern looked like a whalen to me. They are beautiful hooks.

The shirt is gorgeous and it looks gorgeous on you. I’ll say you failed the ugly shirt assignment 😂 I left a review on Amazon for the Divit Shilp BETA hook, currently the two you are showing. I LOVE these hooks. They give me Furls comfort with Ommi style. I love them . ❤ There is a difference in the handle shape between the two. The DS is is rounder, fatter handle than Ommi. Ommi is thinner. DS is right on the money with Furls’ handle in circumference. I love them and will be getting the Coffee line. Currently DS has the Cherry and the Coffee Beta hooks in this style. Their ALPHA hooks look like Ommi, but again are LARGER in handle circumference than Ommi.

I picked up metal pencil case from Dollar Tree and it fits the Omni wood hooks.
It's possible both companies are buying the hooks from the actual manufacturer and are reselling on Amazon
I think that your ugly shirt is a nice shirt that looks good on you. If you don't like the bell sleeves take the bell out on your sewing machine. Don't let others influence what you wear or like.

Jennifer, if you don't like the sleeves but you want to keep the shirt, maybe shorten the sleeves if you're handy with sewing (I am NOT...).
Personally, I like the bell sleeves, but can't stand long sleeves. Especially the wide ones, as they catch on EVERYTHING!
