  • These have got to be the most anticipated set of earphones this year. OPPO has kept a lot of us waiting for the Enco Air2 Pro upgrade for over a year and this doesn't disappoint. The OPPO Enco Air3 Pro is a big upgrade in terms of features and its got its perks in the sound department as well. With Bluetooth 5.3 they've been able to introduced multi device pairing on this that works the way it actually should instead of how the previous generation handled it.

    I have been using the oppo enco air 2 pro for the last one year. It is an amazing product for the price point. Now I have also ordered the enco air 3 pro as i lost one of my earbuds from the air 2 pro. I would highly recommend oppo audio products. I have used premium products from MI, Boat, boult and OnePlus and Skullcandy. I would still prefer the oppo in comparison. I have also used oppos enco m32. Thats also a good neckband.

    20 to 40k hz !!! ❤
    Wow at this price these would put many branded ones to reconsider their price.
    Oppo Enco Air2 pro were already one of my best owned pairs tho the reason i don't wear them much is the trouble to insert below the Turban and yes the earbuds ( plastic) head starts hurting me as well after an hour of usage.
    I definitely would love to try these at some time though not purchasing coz one of my relatives is an Oppo distributor😅...
    Regarding the voice call test IT'S GOOD THO i don't think that the ANC setting changes made much difference to the call quality during all the toggled settings.
    Tho i recall that even Oppo Enco Air2 pro were equally good.
    Regarding the number of Mics i guess yes, it has a quad mic setup. ( Two per bud)
    Thanks for the awesome review❤

      Yes, I think it's similar in call quality with the Air2 Pro. I'll do a comparison sometime to know for sure sometime. • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Год назад +1

      If you can stretch for the Air3 Pro, you'll get a few more features and better clarity in sound. They are also richer in the highs. It is well worth the extra money.
      Codecs are for wireless devices. IEM aren't wireless. They work on wires. In other words, the audio is digital or analog. Digital is usually compressed compared to analog audio, but since everything we listen to today is digital, you can stream your music from a digital source and play back to IEMs. So whatever audio you feed IEMs from a DAC/Amp, it'll play, it can be anything from 250kbps to 5mbps, where as digital earphones usually have a limit of 990kbps when they support the LDAC codec. Codecs are packets that are transferred from one device, which is the source device, to the receiving device, which is the BT earphones, so wireless does have its limits.

Even there is a channel on RUclips which is specifically made for the enco w51 earbud failure and his journey after contacting service for years. Oppo observed that this issue is escalcating so stopped selling the earbuds within days. All platforms went out of stock

    Ive been meaning to get my hands on the oppo enco air 3 pro and was awaiting your review. Im now confused between the jbl tune beam and oppo enco air 3 pro. Ill be using it for my daily commutes to and from work, to take work calls and also while traveling. My key priorities are sound quality, Anc and a decent battery life. Which would you recommend i go for ? I have a vivo phone.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Год назад +1

      Hey, it's nice having you here! Thanks for the appreciation 😊
      The oppo and jbl both are very enjoyable sets to listen to. They're both fun sounding with different "flavours" in their sound. If your priority is overall clarity and detail in your sound, the oppo has an edge over the JBL with its LDAC support, so if you listen to Apple Music, you'll be able to benefit from the Hi-Res audio, but here's the catch. LDAC use eats into your battery life quite a bit, expect the battery life to be halved when using LDAC. If that much time works for your commutes, it'll make sense to buy.
      If you want even more battery life, the JBL has a terrific, long battery life. It does 10Hrs with ANC on. It won't be as pristine sounding as the oppo with LDAC on, but it's no slouch in the sound department at all. Both are great sets to own.
      ANC wise the oppo does a better job of reducing droning noises and you can control it to a certain degree via the app or if you assign the touch controls to do so.
      If you do want to go for the JBL, follow the link in my description of its indepth review or comparison with the 230NC, you can use my coupon code to get a 10% discount on it via the JBL website which is only valid for this month. I dont get any commission from it, but you'll get a better deal with the earphones from there.
      I hope this helps.

    Torn apart between JBl Tune beam or this. My priorities are soundstage, longevity and Anc. Would really like to hear your pick. (I've a Samsung phone which doesn't support LDAC)

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Год назад +5

      If you're into the whole longevity thing, the oppo has got a terrific track record. I've never gotten any build issues or functionality issues posted in my comments about any oppos in the past, and I've also had multiple oppo earphones that haven't failed before 2 years. JBL, on the other hand, I've had a lot of people write in mentioning a multitude of problems with various devices.
      So if you want a no-nonsense set, the oppo is the way to go. If you're okay, possibly having to visit a service center but still have a fun set of earphones to listen to with terrific battery life, the Tune Beam is a good option.

      If Hi-Res audio is your priority, the oppo makes more sense since the JBL only supports AAC & SBC. The oppo can handle much higher bit rates but can take a beating when playing back LDAC. Battery life goes in no time when you're consuming Hi-Res audio buffer, both sets of earphones are good fun to listen to. So if your priority is longer battery life, the JBL is the way to go. It does 10Hrs on the buds alone with ANC on, which is unbelievable really.

      I'd never recommend listening to anything that loud. You'll ruin your hearing like this. ANC has been known to influence the sound in all earphones / headphones it has been implemented with since it puts a load on the driver. They seem kind of similar, but when you put the Alive Audio on, it will boost a bit more. Also, I'd recommend getting your ears checked. Sitting at 80-90% volume is a bit too high for these. It's not good for your ears.

    Hey! I've been leaning towards the oneplus buds z2 since my dizo gopods gave up, but then these dropped so I've been pretty confused. Is the Enco better than the z2 in all aspects? Battery life is a major concern for me... Also seems like z2 has some buzzing issues..? Which one would you recommend?

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  11 месяцев назад

      Battery life between the two is similar unless you have LDAC on all the time with the Air3 Pro. It's bound to half your battery life when in use, but overall, on a sound front, it is better detailed than the Z2 and is also enjoyable to listen to. Both are fun sounding. The Z2 is a louder set of earphones for sure, but I wouldn't recommend listening to any of these on loud volumes if you intend on preserving your hearing in the long run.
      Yes, the Z2 has had a hissing issue with the ANC. My first unit did. The second one seems fine. Oppo wise, none of my oppos have given me issues, they've all carried me for a little over 2 years without any problems. Basis that alone, I'd recommend the Oppo.

      Have a look at my reviews on them, the call quality chapter has recordings of how they perform. The oppo is a but disappointing surprisingly. But on an ANC front, the oppo does have a more aggressive ANC program so it does manage to reduce droning noises more than the JBL.

    Hey, Paul. This is a fantastic review. Thanks a lot.
    I have one question. What do you think about the Spatial audio feature on Oppo air 3 pro.
    I have realme buds wireless 3 and this have 360 spatial audio feature and this is phenomenal and unlike anything i have ever heard. I don't know why no one talk about this feature. This neckband only cost 1700rs.
    How is the oppo's spatial audio? How does it compare with airpods pro's Spatial audio and Sony 360 reality audio of Xm4 and Xm5s

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  11 месяцев назад +1

      The Apple and Sony spacial audio is more immersive than these, but the oppo has done a good job here. I usually don't like dolby atmos, etc, with earphones, but oppos alive audio does do well. Usually these features tunings are changed quite a bit when on spatial audio which is why I usually don't like how they sound because some frequencies can be a little over exaggerated for my taste, the oppos don't have much of a tweak.

    Just a bit of advice for your videos. When you review mic quality, I think it will be better if you don't show your own video. While watching, we get visual feedback from your moving lips and understand what you're saying. • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  11 месяцев назад +1

      What I do like about the Air3 Pro over the Air2 Pro is that it's multi device pairing works more seamlessly, it's got Hi-Res audio support, and the left earbud doesn't give me discomfort like the Air2 Pro does. If you find the Air2 Pro treble happy, this will hurt your ears with its highs. The Air2 has more mellow delivery in the highs compared to the Air3 Pro.

      @johanjoe3012 11 месяцев назад

      @@PaulsPOV thanks, I guess I am a bit sensitive to the treble side. The air 2 pro doesn't hurt but I can feel the shine a bit much in some rock tracks. As in its a bit overpowering on the lower frequencies and not balanced. bass mode just gives the required bass as you recommended and keeps the treble. maybe sometimes slightly lacking in EDM tracks. It might be my age or preference I'm not sure but I guess some phone eq work can fix that. I don't mind the features or the device switching. i run 320 mp3 audio for game and more rare audio compatibility reasons so i don't really require ldac unless it actually changes its eq a bit, like on my oppo enco m31 neckband's LDAC mode.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  11 месяцев назад +2

      The LDAC mode shouldn't change the tuning of a device. It's basically feeding in that much more data, so you should get better resolution in your audio. The only device I've found to genuinely benefit from LDAC is the Sony XM4 I tested a while back. These smaller devices only have marginal differences with it because their drivers can only carry so much on to the listener.
      I'd say the Air2 Pro is still a really good set of earphones to own. I recently did a comparison with it against 3 other earphones, and it did the best, especially when it comes to its sound. It's a great set to own.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Год назад

      Sound wise, the Air3 Pro is certainly richer in detail and with the option of having the LDAC codec, you have the option of listening to Hi-Res audio if ever or whenever you want, so the Air3 Pro is the way to go. Call Quality wise, they're more or less similar to one another so if you have Air3 Pro budget, that's the one for you.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Год назад +3

      Oh thats bad timing, but I do like both those models. I'm not quite sure about the oppo, but I think you might be able to upgrade from the 230NC to the Tune Beam at a service center. It might be worthwhile calling their customer support and asking about this. I could be wrong.
      I have done a comparison between the 230NC sand Tune Beam recently. Feel free to give it a watch if you'd like to.
      I am planning a mega comparison sometime soon. Not too sure about whether the realme will be there or not.

      @@PaulsPOVunfortunately i cant get the 230nc exchanged through jbl service centres as my family bought it from croma and they paid for 1 year extended warranty, if i change it through JBL i believe the extended warranty would get void😞. On the bright side, i faced the charging issue only for a week when it was new and haven't faced it again since. And if i do face it again in the next 2 years, i can get it exchanged through croma if i could prove it in front of them, other than that im loving my TWS, and i believe my sister is loving her's as well. All thanks to your detailed genuine reviews😄
      Also, if you had to rank the tune beam, 230nc, air 2 pro and 3 pro from top to bottom. Where would you rank each of them from?
      Watched the Tune Beam & 230nc comparison as soon as it dropped. Cant wait for the mega comparison!

    I got these yesterday and they do hurt a lot in my ears 😢
    Completely dissatisfied with the fit. Anc is medium not too great. And I learnt that no TWS is fit for gaming, they do say the latency is low (47ms) but it definitely deteriorats the gaming experience.
    But that's just my opinion on it.
    You should definitely avoid these if you have a habit of small earphones.

      It's a nice set to own. Once you get the hey melody app you get more control and a few features. If you're okay not having LDAC, you're not missing too much because even though you do get a little more detail, it eats into the battery life significantly. I'd say it's a nice set to own anyway.

      CCA CXS. It will let you listen to Hi-Res audio if you have the source AND not die in a few hours time. It'll be richer, better defined with its detail in your music than the Air3 Pro provided you have a good source.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  11 месяцев назад

      Both have their own "flavours" of sound. If you want a truer experience, the oppo is the way to go. If you want a little more pump or kick in your bass, the JBL is the way to go. The biggest advantage with the JBL is the super long battery life, and with the oppo, if you're more into wanting to listen to detail in your music and have access to Hi-Res Audio, the LDAC codec will improve your experience there.
      Feel free to watch my in-depth reviews on them. I've broken down how each of them sound in them.

    I have the enco x2
    The ldac switching is so annoying
    Its gets even more annoying when you have lhdc and ldac at the same time
    The solution is
    Unpair the Device and pair it again and bam it works, you should get the option for ldac and not lhdc in the Bluetooth settings
    But if you switch to lhdc from the app then you have to unpair again to swith to ldac
    Its so so annoying

      That does sound quite tedious. Thankfully, this set doesn't have that drama with LHDC and LDAC since it only supports LDAC as a Hi-Res codec.
