OCD VS Robin Trower

OCD VS Robin Trower - Both are fantastic overdrive pedals and you can't go wrong with either of them. If I had to pick my favorite of the two I would have to say the OCD although when it comes to overdrive pedals it all depends on your amp and guitar setup and which one works best for you. One thing I do like about the Trower over the OCD is the Trower has a smoothness to it the OCD doesn't quite have which I like a lot as the OCD is a little bit more scratchy sounding. It's really close on what one is the tighter sounding pedal but the big thing I like about the OCD is the sound is more upfront and cuts just a bit more (maybe it has more mids?). The Trower I find is a bit darker which yes you can turn the tone up on it to get some more brightness out of it or maybe turn the treble up on your amp more but I find it's a more flatter sounding pedal which is the main reason tend to keep going for the OCD.
