Malcolm Young, 1953 - 2017, the driving force behind AC/DC and one of the greatest rhythm guitarists of all time, We salute you Mal, gone never ever forgotten!! 😀 😀 May you and Bon Ride On and rock the heavens!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 🎸
When I heard that Angus lost both of his brothers in 2 months my heart broke for him that kind of pain he must've felt was without a doubt unimaginable for him 😢
Landslide was my favorite one from the album. Malcolm was definitely a legend. He will never be forgotten because his spirit lives through us the fans.
Underproduced. Mutt Lange would have made it better. They canned him for Album. SMH. 83, 85 ,89 Albums didn't personify this great band. Something was missing with those albums. Material probably sound definitely
Legend has it... Malcolm didn’t pick the strings of his guitar, he just bounced up and down and used his dominion over gravity to make his Gretch strike the weapon between his fingers in time with the heartbeat of the universe.
AC/DC back in black album 💿 is what got me introduced to rock and heavy metal music 🎼 back in 1980. And for that they always will be my favorite band. Thanks AC/DC for keep on rocking ⚡️👏👏🤘
If Angus wants to put out an AC/DC album (Providing Brian,Phil and Cliff -if he decides to come back-) as a tribute to Malcolm by all means do so otherwise..it can't be AC/DC without Malcolm...
We have always cranked this music loud and happy, i will truely miss Malcolm. Touch 2 much, hell ya... my friend and i crusin' blasting this song, older man in his car pulls up next to us at single light, lol we singing along loud, we LQQK at him and he rolls up window & locks his door so fast (as if we was the devil) lol...sorry dude, we was just young teenagers then.
Some key facts about Malcolm is that he started AC/DC soon after departing from Velvet Underground (VU). After hiring Dave Evans as their new singer (also from VU), Malcolm asked his younger brother Angus to join the band after his band, Kantukee, had broken up. Angus joined and AC/DC was born with original members Dave Evans (vocals), Malcolm Young (guitar), Angus Young (guitar), Colin Burgess (drums), and Larry Van Kreidt (Bass). Malcolm and Angus both played lead guitar initially as Angus was not quite there yet. Check out "1974 Can I Sit Next To You Girl" on RUclips to see Angus playing lead. Malcolm was also the song writer for the band at that time. While on tour, Malcolm decided that he was going to stick to the rhythm guitar because he was better at it than Angus. He also decided that Angus was going to be band's lead guitar as a sort of 'show pony' or mascot. Malcolm truly was the driving force behind AC/DC. RIP Malcolm Young
AC/DC are definitely let’s just put it this way, If rock ‘n’ roll were a religion, they would definitely be the king James Bible. Well one of the chapters in the Bible. Along with many others.
I graduated high school in 1983 and the first time I had heard of AC/DC was Highway to Hell. Great cover track and a few good songs in there but a year later in 1980 Back in Black put them in the map. We all owned that album or cassette in the car and it was an album you can just play over and over again every song. There was not a throw away song in that whole album.
There's never any mention of why Malcolm got Alzheimer's so young because he had to leave the band in 2014 when he was only 61 and died 3 years later at age 64. I know some get dementia in their 50s but it is quite rare since it is more often the province of one's 80s that it is likely to occur.
Anyone can get dementia. Little kids, 30 year olds, 55 year olds. My understanding is Malcolm had it for quite some time before he was forced to retire. Angus used to run him through the songs before concerts, because Malcolm was forgetting them. It's truly sad, but it can happen at any age, unfortunately.

There will be no more striking songs without him😢. He always struck me with that voice. Even thunderstruck my favourite song.
Watched his funeral procession from the park across the road from St Mary's in Sydney here in Australia. Sad day .
Donnington Park 1981, my first time I ever saw AC/DC, and will continue to be a fan until my last breath
Btw THE Flick album is so underated. Badlands Rising bedlam OMG

Flick of the switch is my absolutely number one favorite album it is hard rock and roll verging on metal

Malcolm Young was the force of AC/DC. Angus plays the solos. Malcolm drives the music.

Malcolm was the brains of the operation
"Malcolm can do what I do, I just can't do what he does." -- Angus Young

Still think FLICK OF THE SWITCH is criminally underrated.
Jailbreak is an awesome song
flick of the switch is a great underrated album
Yes. Great album
The one thing about the band is it was all about the music rather than about the fame. They were quiet achievers living through their music
64 is so young tbh
AC⚡DC ARE ROCK AND ROLL . THE GREATEST
AC/DC would never have existed if it wasn't for Mal, the band was Malcolms, and he got his little brother to play lead.
Still miss you mal you inspired me to pick up the guitar and learn

Flick of the switch and Fly on the wall so underrated and unfairly criticized
Rip Mal.
The Sound of ACDC is Malcolm Young! Alternate & Direct current. Malc-Cliff-Phil were the Direct Current, Angus is the Alternate current…
Bon Scott forever
I like night prowler

They are the king of power riff rock ,. There best song is Rock n roll damnation

If you want blood. #1
AC/DC is so not McDonald's. What a crappy metaphor.
