    Taming an octave fuzz requires deft technique. Your finger vibrato really brings it to life.

    Have always loved your riff’s Rob! And have always wanted to play slide, I like this tuning, sounds so gritty and good. Thanks for sharing and keep rockin’! Cheers from VA 🤘🏻🍻 Happy 4th 🇺🇸

    Still think you need to make the "Chap-steel" Lap Steel guitar for slide parts like this ;) Appreciate the song breakdown though, useful stuff

    To me as a lifelong guitarist it's always funny when people see slides they always want to know why metal or glass which is absolutely notable but for me it's which finger do you play the slide on is the one that's more interesting I usually throw it on my pinky or middle and its because i wannt as much movement with my playing fingers as possible

    Why do you choose a glass slide over a metal one?

    • @RobChappers
      @RobChappers  7 дней назад

      I personally prefer the way it sounds with glass. I think Metal is a bit scratchy, but it doesn’t really matter that much.

    • @Lez325

      Glass for me always

    • @mobeus84
      @mobeus84 5 дней назад

      It depends on the sound you're trying to get usually brass and metal slides are for Bluegrass because they're a little more rough and buzzy and the glasses are smooth sustained notes

    I hate to say, BUT ... But I prefer glass OVER metal, as FRAGILE AND BREAKABLE as they are, for slides, but OVERALL... I will go for a CERAMIC MUDSLIDE EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
