I worked for AT&T and United Healthcare for years in their sales support service centers. First day of training we said, "Take out your phone anywhere but the breakroom, and you're termed." Fired people weekly for violating the rule. Doesn't matter why it's the rule (security mostly) just follow it and keep your job.
