Excellent job, lars! I find this video very informative.
Thanks Sal
Did you like what you saw? Please feel free to leave some feedback. Sorry about the awkward camera placement.
I switched from Frog Plus to RK3 after being introduced to them by my drift diving instructor. They're great... and not _that_ heavy (I think they come in two versions). Most of my diving is via travels, with gear in a backpack, and I haven't had problems. Indeed, the Cressi fins were soft, and would easily deform.
On a side note, I see that you're from Trinidad. I have thoughts about retiring back to Guyana down the road and I was wondering what the diving is like around your area. My relatives tell me that off the Guyanese coast, the water is far too silty for diving. Is there a large variety of choice locations nearby?
Hey thanks for the feedback, yeah the RK3 is certainly one of those you are likely to stick with once you get started. I finally started using my Storm fins and they work quite well.
There is some good diving here, the waters around Trinidad do not have the best visibility, Tobago on the other hand is amazing. The waters around Tobago, especially the north east end, is very rich with life and clear waters.
Good video 👍
Do you think it is possible to wear the storm with 3 mm socks and some 3 mm booties like the mares equator? Would you recomend to buy the one size bigger than normaly needed?
Hi Jonas, I sometimes use the storm with 3mm neoprene socks. I’ve heard other persons say that they used them with booties and they would go a size bigger for that, but I have no personal experience using booties with them, just socks for me.
@@Larutus Yeah same i heard ... it is hard to decide if this going to fit for me ... but thankmy ou for answering!
@@InfiniteBlue_ I would honestly suggest that you try it on at a store before buying if you can. I got lucky with my online purchases, but I am always wary that one day I’ll get it wrong.
Hey bro...Good video..does Aqualung storm be used for drift diving?
Hi there, it probably can be used, but the more senior divers I speak with all prefer using RK3 or similar for drift diving.
