    Appreciate your video. Where do I get a halter, like yours for my donkey? I understand that colt and pony/horse halters are not appropriate. Thanks

    I hope to learn this to people in The Gambia because they bind one legg just to manipulate them... Its a system of knowing how the animals work, bit of patients and right attention... Thumbs up from Holland.

      You hope to *teach people about donkeys? The word there should be *teach, not "learn". Students learn, while a teacher teaches. :) Also, being patient (the verb, an action word) is spelled Patience, "a bit of patience", while a person that's under medical care is a patient (a noun, a thing). It's always challenging to learn a different language.

    Amazing work with your donkeys,
    Sorry but I don’t understand when to add and release the pressure. I am trying to make my donkey walk with the lead, but true, he just stays still.

    This may be an ignorant question but can you have with your donkey like cart pulling and packing but also use them as a live stalk guardian animal? ~Mercy

    Sir , what is the purpose of crossing a tarp ? Simulating water, or something else ?

    • @mountainridgegear8172
      @mountainridgegear8172  6 лет назад +3

      The tarp creates stress which makes the donkey resist. That's when training starts. I teach the donkey to trust me and cross the obstacle even if it is nervous. It is not tarp trying. It is halter training. While the donkey learns by crossing the tarp, it transfers to crossing a creek or loading into a trailer, etc.

    Please check your video description for typos and unintended words that have changed your likely meaning. "Scratching is also a good was to realize pressure"? Do you mean that scratching is also a good Way to Release pressure? Proof-reading is needed. (Hurray for the Long-ears! Love the donkeys! Thanks!)
