Yeah pretty sure he used to command a Leo 2 a while back, he normally runs an actual Leo sight and is crazy good with distance estimates
as a canadian i can confirm that our tanks runs on maple syrup and tim hortons

I got the canadian leo in warthunder. I know people say its not worth it but i got it mainly to help me grind and because i am canadian i thought it would be cool to use a tank that my country uses I enjoy hull down sniping in the canadian leo as it is very good at it same with all/most leos I think. I also like rushing around the map and destroying anyone i can. I personally don’t think the speed is a issue but that is just my opinion.
I absolutely loved Alberta, spent as much time in Calgary and Lethbridge as possible when deployed for training to BATUS. Avoided Med Hat where possible though…
Now we just need them to add the Leopard 2a6m. Though I doubt we will ever get that.

This tank and the m1a1 sep seem like the two hardest tanks to kill right now in 11.3
I like the composite sides because it can actually completely stop autocannon rounds with around 130mm of pen FLAT ON. You can have spaa or IFVs flank you and you just shrug off side shots like they do no damage. The only thing they can do is kill the engine
Love the tank and the KE-W is not as bad as some people say. Should have the DM53 tho and hate that the frontal turret armor isn't modeled with its composite.
If you read this I beg of you, go to the bug report section of this tank and press "I have the same bug".
Its true though, the dev blog even said armour similar to the 2a7 but that is not what it has. I do like the tank though and do quite well in it, but a slightly better armour value would be appreciated
They said the armour package will provide protection similar to ones found on 2a7 series tanks…they removes the line stating it too from the dev blog…its just an 2a4 at 11.3 facing 11.7 cuz u have a good round and good thermals…

DM-12A1 is regular HEAT-FS, try the HE round with the proxy fuse

Only major difference is the lack of the L/55 gun, chassis and the composite screens on the lower and upper frontal plate, gun breach and turret face

@@lok777 Shoulda been but Gaijin didn’t model it correctly compared to real life. In real life it got the composite screens as well as dm53 but in game we only get ke-w (which it never used)

10:15 Well in low-middle BR where there is no radar/missile AA CAS is a problem. In high BR where that stuff is a thing, the AA is the problem. Both cases are annoying.
i am kind of mad at gaijin because they screwed it up. first of all this thing should have the same armour as a 2A7, it should fire Dm53 not KE-W the camo netting irl reduces the thermal contrast to the surrounding terrain by around 50% from a regular tank tho for balancing purposes i understand why it wouldn't in game but yeah it sucks that they didn't stick this thing at least at the end of the British export line...
It’s honestly more worth your money to talisman the 2a7v and pso, granted the sl multi is half of premium vehicles with talisman

Dont buy it if you are thinking it has armour similar to 2a5,6,7 but at a lower br…it was advertised as having composite armour package which will provide almost similar protection to the ones found on 2a7 series tanks…due to this the tank will be able to bounce or survive hits from most kinetic and chemical warheads at its br…this whole line was removed from the dev blog and in game this tank armour performs nowhere near in compare to 2a7…so in all honesty its an 2a4 at 11.3 fighting 11.7 just cuz u have good thermals and good round
hey twice yea no they buggered up big time advertising it but it is a good tank for mobile fighting just don't rely on its armor which i keep saying you never should at top tier ever it has a good round good bonuses and overall okay protection at loooong range but it wont save you buy it only if you like playing the 2a4 and want to fight like its a leo 1

I'm a canadian and was very excited for this tank to come out, but $90 CAD is insane! I know war thunder vehicles are usually around that if not MORE, but still I think that's outrageous for Gaijin to make us pay nearly $100 for a virtual tank (plus premium time and 2500 GE) but still!
For that price I prefer to buy myself a 1:35 tank kit to build it myslef and I'm still saving some money :V
Why do Gaijin insist on adding tanks for nations that aren't in the game, then dumping them on nations they don't belong too?
Balancing probably, I dunno, to be fair tho.. I dont want the British to have a Canadian Leopard together with their T-90 and Challengers (UK would have gotten it since other canadian vehicle like the Sherman anti air are also there)
@@spades7227 oh, I don't want the UK to have it either. Since Canada isn't in the game their equipment shouldn't be, unless it was legitimately used by a nation that is in. Same with others that aren't in. The Brits shouldn't have the Bhisma for example.

@@goldgamercommenting2990 but the difference in armour is day and night and the 2A4M is only a br away from top tier. So you'll always face tanks that pen you easily and have 2 times better armour

@@Prowamfordihno well I could get any light tank with 400mm of pen and say it's perfectly usable at top tier. The thing is that you have no armour and your mobility is impaired by the additional armour. The 2A4 at 10.3 is a much better tank for its br than this thing and is cheaper.

I actualy got the 2a7hu and my top tier grind so far is fighting 2a4 m and t80ue1
It has 10mm lower armor overall then the Leo 2PL, but it has the apfsds with 500+ mm pen. So is it worth it? Idk.
