No ! It is simply the quest for new pussies. War is always about productivity, especially with regards to the most direct form... Reproduction, and the consequences of such needs.
Indeed. The theatrical cut is an ordinary 6/10 slop, whereas the extended cut is unironically a solid 8.5/10 banger. They butchered the film when cutting it to the silver screen.
What’s more epic is knowing that historically this king, a teenager who knows he’s dying, had himself strapped into the saddle so he could lead his armies from the front. KoH is my favourite movie ever but this is one of those occasions where many of the characters were even more epic in real life. (Except Guy, and perhaps the real Tiberias)
Never seen this movie or even heard of it until it started popping up on my feed. The fact that I couldn’t and can still hardly tell that that’s Edward Norton behind the mask is a real testament to his commitment to this roll. That line delivery gave me chills ngl

I don't know what he did with his voice, but I remember going to see this with my sister when it was in theatres, and we both thought they had a younger guy in the costume but had Anthony Hopkins doing the voice with an accent other than his natural/usual accent. Neither of us picked up on who was truly under the mask. (My memories of the movie are otherwise a little fuzzy. As a history nerd, I knew how it would end and my sis just wanted to look at Orlando)
