- A new journey begins! I will gradually be moving away from doing ONLY SCP content to other forms of content too. Still horror focused but videos that include such things as trendy horror games such as the Last of Us, Backrooms, creepypastas, warhammer 40k, horror trends and others. Things like that.

If the Non SCP videos don't work out, what will your plan be from then on?
@@man_milker If the new videos don't generate any new viewers and with that a newer audience and my channel continues to decline, I will keep creating a mix of SCP and non-SCP videos. At least that way I will be happy with the variety of content I am creating. More than likely as well, at that point, I would begin searching for a new career path to dedicate myself to and treat this channel as a side hobby instead of my full-time occupation.
@@MR_ILLUSTRATED I think diversifying your content was a good decision as it may reach a larger audience, and possibly grow your channel. Wherever it goes I still do support your decision though.

Variety won't kill anybody, but I really do hope it doesn't kill your channel. Your illustrations are amazing & the stories you cover have inspired me. We're not losing anything, in fact, we're gaining more.

Watching all of your Scp content evolve in terms of story and especially art has been a real gift and I look forward to seeing whatever you create into the future.
same, and i am glad i can stay and see as much scp content i want and can. i am hoping the best of illustrated, and hopefully it isn't fully sizzled out, as even after the remake, he would still post scp content, but not in the same quantities with his other content. but i am still staying and wishing the best of luck and hopefully i can enjoy his content fully. wish him best of luck, even if i ain't a patreon. at least me being a subscriber helps as good enough or maybe more for otheres see his good content.
You were the first SCP channel I ever watched! It was 2020, and I'd had all my teeth surgically removed due to hereditary disease. I was left with 4 dry sockets, an *immensely* painful possible side effect of tooth removal. I could only eat bacon super noodles (hello from Southend on sea!) and cry. When I'd eat, it took forever with four open spots in my gums, and watching your videos really helped! I could picture everything you said, and I loved your art, and would always be so happy for you as your drawings gradually got better! I spent *months* recovering, and I enjoy a whole plethora of SCP content. But yours has a very special place in my heart ✨️🩷✨️🩷✨️🩷✨️🩷✨️ so I should say thank you..for getting me through the single most painful experience I've ever had, and for inspiring me to create my very own SCP that I've spent since then working on! I'll still watch your content because I love horror. Maybe you could create an analog horror of your very own! Those are doing *bits* on RUclips atm ☺️ but whatever you decide to do, there's only one way to go, and that's up! You should be so proud of what you've achieved, I know I am! ☺️✨️🩷✨️🫂🫂🫂 but now I think it's time to drop what makes others happy for a while. You deserve that happiness most, out of all of us. Scp 323 ☺️ granted it was a short, but who cares. Scp explained took my request for 323, i was the only one who asked for it, too! My ultimate goal is to get dr.bob to cover it! :D Hehe ^-^

Rarely do I see RUclipsrs so honest with their audience. I wish you luck on the future of your channel and am glad you are taking it in a direction you prefer
I've seen a few be this honest, especially when it comes to hiatus or shifts in content, including this year. (For example, several D&D channels announcing concern about the Open Game License situation earlier this year, and some even leaving D&D as a whole indefinitely.) There are definitely a lot who aren't so honest and open, but that makes those who are more valuable.

The fact that you stated your first subscriber by name is I believe a reason why so many people support you. You're not some big channel with an inflated ego, you're simply a man who enjoys SCP content and drawing. Burnouts happen, but what you've made and what you will make, regardless of what community it is under, will be stellar as always.

When I was younger I was sold into SCP, and you were my main reason. Listening to your voice and seeing these illustrations made me picture a tale. I loved it, and frankly, I still do love to go back and watch the old vids you have. The only reason I haven’t watched any of your content is because I have so much going on in life.
Same. I can still vividly remember where I was when I first saw his SCP-001 Gate Guardian video. It’s still one of my favorite depictions of that scp.

I discovered SCP when I was about 12, in 7th grade. Back then, there were hardly any visuals of the SCP's, maybe a few vague images or so. So about 15 years later, it was amazing to discover your channel and see hand-drawn depictions of the anomalies I was reading about. I appreciate you and all your work sir, and so does the rest of this community.
SCP lore is over 15 years old?! I thought it was maybe around 4 or 5, tops.

I remember when I first came across your channel after re-watching a "Scariest SCP list" I forgot I watched years prior, getting me back into the SCP community. It is a tragedy that interest for SCP content in general has begun to dwindle. Nowadays the most relevant horror related community writing project is the backrooms and interest in that has slowly started to die down. But having watched you for such a long time and watching your drawings and art style get better and better - Your artistic talent is unparalleled. No matter what you cover and no matter where you work in the future, I guarantee you will succeed! The When Day Breaks series is especially amazing and I can't wait to see how it ends!
I suppose the limited growth makes sense in a way, I suspect the majority of viewers find your channel from already having knowledge of the SCP community and so channel growth would be quite difficult to attract viewers from outside sources. Whatever you plan to cover in the future I will stay and look forward to it!

Broad spectrum horror. Dead Space monsters, maybe a bit of Backrooms, Cryptids, Callisto Protocol. Just exploring lots of horror niches and creatures

I love ya dude, I've had the fortunate experience of subbing to you just a week after o'death was released. Your desire to draw and interpret things through you work has always helped paint a better/more compelling picture and story. I cried a bit when I saw the name of the video(still teary eyed while I type this), but I completely understand why you are moving on, everyone deserves to strive for the thing that makes them happy, especially in their work. I remember finding your first video and loved the echo in the voice. To me it felt like it added a layer of realism as though it were in a debrief with the O-5 council.

I discovered your channel some years ago, and not only i have enjoyed every single video you posted (i believe many did) but i also would come here to watch them as a "comfort zone" during a very difficult period of my life.
You also inspired me and other friends of mine into doing a scp themed DnD campaign during covid
