Well- actually, that raises a good point. If the power of 682 lies in narrative, then nothing at all can kill it, even the scarlet king. If it's powers lie in noospheric space, then the scarlet king wins instantly. Between these points? No clue.

Can we take a moment to understand how powerful SCP-2845 (The Deer) is? After the first battle, the course Scarlet King took was not to train or find means to get more powerful for the second battle to be able to defeat The Deer quicker or without destroying everything, try to find out how to drag The Deer into another universe or something, etc. It was to win by waiting 14 billion years after restarting everything for the SCP Foundation to choose a different dialogue tree so that The Deer would not be released and thus keeping Scarlet King from facing The Deer at all. SK did not want the smoke a second time.
Careful now, don't want the haters ganging on you.

It's not that he didn't want the smoke, it's that he wanted his followers. Technically, the King did win his battle against the Deer, but it destroyed the entire multiverse as a result. No multiverse, no followers.
You misunderstood the ending.
I think it's more like the Deer is an inevitability of the universe, probably because its energies were part of reforging the thing in the first place. And it's also a bit like a bullet is to a human. Dangerous, yes, maybe even deadly if used right. But if all you do is throw it, you'll kill naught but ants.
Remember, the scarlet king just existing destroys the tree of knowledge. This was likely just a avatar of the scarlet King.
Thats why I like Universe centered SCP better than the Outerversal powerscaling fest that the Multiverse, Outerverse, and muh infinty is bigger than yours, If SCP is put against Anime and Comics, Books and more.
@@awestruckcardboard3431 I also prefer it because after a while then it goes into a Goku complex where everyone is just shooting who's the strongest. In the Scarlet Kings case however that is kinda the goal of the SCP. Kinda like hp Lovecraft it's a creature so powerful humans can't comprehend it. Again, once you hit outside the universe level power then it starts getting ridiculous but with him in particular it makes sense.

Like another interpretation (besides from this one) is DJkaktus’s interpretation of the Scarlet King, making him a Demi-god of blood and memory. So yeah at this point just choose a version of the character you want to follow and hopefully it stays consistent.

That was the first draft when the two were sort of evenly matched but in truth, the Scarlet King is OP so it wouldn't make sense given the Scarlet King's actions to reboot the universe so it could turn in his favour

The Scarlet King is a entity that is outside of reality. The Deer may very well be a God, but is housed in each universe, separately. The King broke into this universe and tried to take hold of it, probably before moving toward the Garden of Eden(but this form of the King os more likely a avatar of the King, as you will note there was another crown of horns in lower left frame of the second to last picture). The deer was powerful enough to destroy the avatar, but the amount of power that poured out, destroyed EVERYTHING! But the true presence of the King, did not like the outcome enough, so he took what remained, restarted the universe, all to change Cimmerian’s mind, to reject the idea of using the Deer.

according to djkaktus, 343 isn't even god. 343's just a powerful megalomaniacal reality bender. It entirely depends on what canon you go by with how strong SK is. In some, he's a powerscaler's wet dream. In others, he's no more powerful than your average god.

The only time i read Gate Guardian "stopping" Scarlet King was in one specific universe, and even then it was like Foundation and Guardian working together and we dont even know what exactly happened.
Going by every statistics, Guardian should have no way to do anything about Scarlet King short of his manifestations or physical bodies.
The Scarlet King by existing was said to shake existence by waking up.
It's so beautiful. Even if it is really just an over the top slide show it still is beautiful. The art, your narration, and the music choice. I remember watching the old sketch drawings on blank paper but seeing what the channel has become now is amazing. I wish I could do narrations like this for a living because you give people like me who spend their free time listening to these so much joy after a long day of work. Thank you Mr.Illustrated.

Minor note: Though deer do "gallop", they don't really do it in the same way that horses do as far as I know. I think a better word to describe how it'd move towards the scarlet king would be "pronking".

Now I'm wondering if there are any other entities that might have a chance to win without nearly immediately ending reality. I wonder how the gate guardian would fare, seeing as how it's roughly evenly matched to the deer according to SCP-1730, and seems to be more judicious with how it uses it's power.
I doubt the GG would win, remember, he's an Archangel, not a god.
