yea i know so many brown girls who use self tanner to provide a new glow to their skin. it really works. it also helps us stay even. so many women have lighter legs or arms after covering those parts all winter.

I love that this product exists. I live in the Philippines and I'm constantly being bombarded with skin whitening products. Even going to a make up store, instead of shade matching me they give me lighter foundation because it's 'more beautiful.'

I would NEVER get a tint that doesn't have red in it. A healthy tan looks reddish. A "fake" looking tan is usually hella orange which is what you don't want
It depends on your undertones. I'm black and don't tan red at all my sister tans red like the tanner made Jackie's skin that red would look soooo fake on me
Not always true. I use a tan with green in it. Warm tones would look crazy on me

hmmm not really....jackie's using more of a instant glow adding tanner....a self tanner is more like you leave on for a bunch of hours then you're left with a 'tan' for a week or so....hers just ads glow and washes off
anyone who says that didn’t listen 😩 I clearly said the LAST thing I expected this product to do was to actually make my skin darker. I wanted the other benefits of evening my complexion and the blurred look. The darkening was the extra added bonus I didn’t see coming!
Kelly Gonda Not really, considering there are different versions of “tan”, and different versions of getting lighter. Anyone can get darker so it’s not odd for a black person (of any shade) to want to tan. Many people also lighten/bleach certain areas of their body (like hyper-pigmentation) so that it matches the rest of their body

I’m dark skinned , I use the Jergens gradual tan lotion on my legs since I have terrible legs. I love it. Don’t sleep on self-tanners ladies !

I use the Sally Hansen spray tan on my legs in the summer🙌🏽 it helps cover up any scarring and even skin complexion. I don’t think women of colour use self-tan to get darker - more to even out skin tone etc 🤔

Most people think dark skinned people can’t get a tan, which is not fair, dark skinned people “apparently” can’t do a lot of things that white can do .I am not the darkest or the lightest . Either way no one should ever be told you can’t do any thing .I love you so much Jackie ❤️💕

I compete as a bodybuilder and we have to tan, no matter your skin color black , white, or indifferent to look nice on stage. (I edited my comment so I don’t confuse people)
I always just assumed darker men/women just used baby oil and body bronzer. now I know the teaaaa
ryan CP they are judged your muscles and balance of muscle depending on the categories. So for example the big bodybuilders have to have a balance of muscle their chest cannot be too big to the point that it overpower the lower body. Or you can’t have crazy muscular legs but your calves or upper body doesn’t match. Basically you build muscle appropriate to each body part to have a balance. I am really simplifying it but I am gonna do a video soon to explain

I'm whiter than a piece of Wonder bread and use the Vita Liberata foam self-tanner on my legs all spring, summer and fall so I can get away with no panty hose (I work in a conservatively dressing profession - lawyer). I LOVE that stuff and it's worth every cent to avoid pantyhose. That blur/tan product, I haven't tried yet but it looks AMAZING on your skin, Jackie! Gorgeous and glowy.
Woman of a Certain Age it’s the only thing that makes me look right! Phenomenal tan lasts about 2 weeks, as it fades the body blur tops it right up, I can’t fault vita liberata 👌🏽 and it doesn’t stink like others 🤗

Mindy Kaling gets spray tan before events to even out her skin tone, and she’s pretty deep skinned. I read about it in one of her books. Makes sense that it works to mask “imperfections” on any skin tone. That’s why I use it, and I’m a medium tone.
