So bizarre how people can enjoy the heck out of something like Please Don't Destroy, only to accuse them of being nepo babies once they find out who their parents are.

It’s such a stupid non-issue. If your parents are in a certain industry, you are way more likely to also find your way in that industry, there’s nothing nefarious going on. I know a guy who’s a butcher who took over from his dad who was also a butcher, and no one is ever like ‘hmmm nepo baby much’ to him

Hi, I see you may be too young or new to the country.
Since almost the beggining of snl, it hs been the formula to do a sketch and this becomes famous enough, that NBC producers will finance a movie around that sketch premise , if you go on an snl dive , you will find at least 150 movies related to a sketch done prior to said movie.
Almost every comedy actor today has come outfrom an snl sketch. ✌🏼

His older films are timeless compared to his recent ones. You know you hit a goldmine with your work when everybody and their grandmother references lines and characters from your movie, which he did with Superbad and Mclovin.
I think the problem is his newer films don’t catch that same exact tone as the most successful ones he made in his career. His current storylines are also a bit over the top compared to his older movies that were pretty simple and relatable to the average person.

If you've seen the trailer, it's more like Goonies for toddlers. Some real goo-goo gaa-gaa BS. Someone must've had some real dirt in Conan O'Brien to rope him into this ride on the Lusitania.
