This interview with PDD compared to Fallon's interview, just days apart, is night and day. I can't believe Fallon has never gotten ANY better at interviewing. Seth is hands down the best interviewer on late night and actually listens, reacts to, and adds to the stories he is hearing. He doesn't just manically laugh and say "no way! what? are you kidding me? no no no you're the best you're the best..."
Lol, love Jimmy, glad for his success. But the "You're the best!!! I mean that!!! Oh man!" stuff gets so annoying so quick. I can't watch it for more than a few minutes at a time before I switch to anything else.
But hey, at least Fallon makes up for it in running Q&A games where "the rules are simple"... so long as the definitions of "rules", "questions", "answers", and "game" are flexible. *thunderclap* I kid, but seriously... I've been annoyed by Fallon going back to when he was on SNL, but I've never laughed harder at his antics than I did on Strike Force Five. Just amazing. He earned a lot of points for that.

Weird to say but I've been watching SNL for close to a half a century! Love these guys and they are some of the best things to happen on the show ever.
snl knows how to pick comedy trios, and they usually end up being my favorite part. actually, thinking about it now, they've had at least one trio group in their cast since 2005
Love these guys. And their videos are so unerringly quirky and funny. The Bad Bunny sketch is bound to be a classic - hilarious from the moment Bad Bunny wanders into the office with an impassive, puppy-dog expression on his face while randomly wearing a fully realized Shrek costume.
You can really tell Martin is the ideas guy of the group, the one with the most raw comedic energy in him. John is the actor, the face, the public speaker, and Ben is the heart, the glue holding everything together
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve rewatched that Bad Bunny sketch. I started laughing as soon as he walks in, haplessly dressed as Shrek to nonchalantly pitch a movie. In fact, every sketch with Bad Bunny that episode was great. Great writing by the PDD guys and, of course, Marcello - bien hecho!
The way they don’t exactly know what to do with their hands at the end is so endearing.. I saw a 9yr-old-waving-to-his-mom wave, two thumbs up, fist pumping, applauding, and did one of them just blow a kiss? All within 5 seconds..They are adorable
PDD was a DeFranco secret link way back when, so I subscribed years ago but was unaware they’d gotten so big. They’ve got some hilarious sketches, so I hope the movie is the same - definitely gonna watch it.
Correction: Conan played Andy Warhol in Weird: The Al Yankovic documentary. He's also done some voice acting and a couple other smaller roles in previous movies/shows
It’s refreshing to see three guys who got to where they are based on their talent alone. No connections, no nepotism, just 3 normal funny guys who did the work
They’re definitely doing their own brilliant thing, but they’re not without show-biz connections and backgrounds. John, for example, is the son of Higgins - the producer and side-kick on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
I thought Please Don't Destroy's first season on SNL was rough. But ever since their second season, they've become a highlight of SNL that I look forward to each week.

Being better at interviews is about all Seth can claim. Like it or not, Jimmy's a great host in about every other capacity.
so funny to me that Jimmy was like “don’t do the voice!!” and then Seth did the impression himself 😂
I really like how basically everyone who has ever worked at SNL in any capacity has a perfect Lorne impression
The absurd turns that their comedy takes is what makes it so amazing.
No that’s what makes it not boring. Still not funny tho

Seth is so funny and natural at interviewing other funny people, but especially if they are a part of the SNL universe lmao.
