I normally do not subscribe to tech RUclipsrs (apart from the big ones and/or more hardcore audio-video channels) but I have subscribbed to you, Daniel. Quality comparison with nuanced observations (not being able to manually adjust vertical on Obsbot - is that really true?) and I liked the suggested videos at the end of the video. Keep it up, I know YT is hard!
Have the insta360 love the 3 axis gimbal. I did pick up the link 2. I like what they have done and their software is easy to use and navigate. I was looking at the tiny 2 but decide to keep with the same company when I added a second camera for my show. Great video ! Very professional
I have this Link 2 webcam and doing streaming with it. It's pretty useful for beginner when I don't want to spend $800 on a DSLR. 2C could be better option when I found out I didn't move a lot
Excellent that you also have the Insta360 Link 2! Yes, it is very good for experts as well as beginners, and you're right...if you don't move around a lot, then getting a PTZ camera is not very worthwhile. That would be where one might get the Link 2C instead which is the same as the Link 2 but is fixed.
Thanks for the comment! Interestingly, there is a greenish tone to the painted wall behind me (outside the vertical slat wall). However, the skin tone I still find is warmer out of the box, compared to the Insta360.
Great video and comparison. Going through comparison videos today on cameras because I need a new 4k one to connect to my computer. Thanks for the info
Great video!! but the Obsbot Tiny 2 is not the newer product (especially compared with Link2 which was just released last month), you should the Tiny 2 Lite with Link 2, they're in a similar price range and have the same sensor size:)
Hey Daniel, I own the OBSbot Tiny 2 and also the Tiny 2 Lite. Both cameras are good, with a slight edge going to the Tiny 2 for higher build quality. I use these cameras mostly with Zoom. How do you use that PTZ interface for the cameras from Zoom? I’ve been keeping the app open to do these things but a builtin ptz interface would handle 99% of my use cases.
What's up Dean! You have to enable Far End Camera Control on both your Zoom Account as well as the guest's. support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066662 You can't use it for your own camera though. Only your guest's PTZ camera.
There are several factors that could cause that including, but not limited to, poor lighting or contrast and the camera cannot differentiate you from the background, you're moving too fast (if this, then make sure to change the tracking speed in the software), or maybe you're turning too much so much so that the camera 'lost' you.
Sorry man! I'm going through all of these trying to find a top notch out-of-the-box best unit. I have a M-Audio UBER MIC that works even on locked down work computers. Trying to find someone, anyone that will discuss better webcams from this aspect. I use an LG CX48 for my display, so my work laptop is closed and mounted to the side of my desk. It's pretty locked down. Corp. will allow drivers but not the companion software. A quality cam is vital, same with the mic. I know that I'm not alone in people using their own hardware on their corporate machines, especially when it comes to sales.
@@imowgrass no apologies necessary! I actually love the comment. Have you tried the Obsbot Meet 2? It’s really good out of the box. The audio on that is acceptable but if you really want to sound better consider the low cost Boya wired lav mic that I recommend in my Remote Guest Kit video. That, along with the Meet 2 are pretty bang on, no drivers or software required. ruclips.net/video/LkmF9MMG3eg/видео.html
@@danielchilive Thanks for the recommendation. I don't need a mic, for sure. The one I use now is top notch. Just needing a sweet cam! Thinking of dropping a nickel on a Sony or Nikon 0_o

@@DoubleDropkickPodcast thank you! I agree with the decision on keeping the same manufacturers. Keep on creating! 😀
I just bought the Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite. It will arrive tomorrow. I can hardly wait.
WHOOP WHOOP! Can't wait to see what you do with it! 😀

The OBSBot is really green.

Woohoo! If you don't need PTZ, take a look at the OBSBOT Meet 2 - THAT THING IS UH-MA-ZING and it's insanely priced at only $130USD! geni.us/OsMK

is it only me? Tracking gets confused pretty easily when I move around

Excellent stuff!
Thank you kindly!
Hahahha, I love the intro
It was fun making it! Reminded me of when I was a kid and I used to smash up my cars... 🤣
Do either of them work with iOS?
Alas, neither of these will work on iOS devices.
Color- Tiny 2 *HARD WIN*
Focus- Link 2
Audio- Link 2 *HARD WIN*

doesn’t seem worth it.
@@hyerimjadefor now I’ll keep both but yes if you have one or the other it might not be the best to change over if what you have is working for you. 😀
